Russian-source ransomware: add a Russian keyboard to your computer settings. You don’t have to use it, just add it as an option. Sound too simple? InRussia it is not a crime to inject malicious code onto foreign computers, only onto Russian ones. So many Russian-source malware programs include a code check to see whether a potential target computer has a Russian language keyboard installed; if so, the malware installation terminates.

There is no guarantee of course, and it won’t stop non-Russian-source malware. But it’s easy and free and has no functional disadvantages..

No. Just activate the language on the pc. No real keyboard needed.
