You can't - unless you sponsor a prize for it.

I believe that 1 day timeout will keep away the strongest players. That should make it more interesting for players rated 2000-

That's fair enough. Some like slow games/tournaments, while others appreciate fast paced games that don't drag out too long.
Luckily we're on a site offering both types in abundance!

Don't forget that the new vacation system comes into place from March 14th. So that will give everyone 36 days extra protection in addition to the 14 day timebank.
