Bug in Licinius grouped random?

How is a player of rating 1532 able to enter both the 1300-1400, and the 1400-1550 grouped random tournament brackets in Licinius?

Maybe his rating changed between the two entries. If so, his graph would show it.

Well, back on the 30th of dec was his lowest charted rating at 1200. Then it jumps to 1400 and does not go below that mark.


Maybe you can check it out as I don't really know what to look for. His tournament entry rating is 1532 is all I know. Also, I thought you could only enter one bracket in the same tourney?

Hmm, strange.. he would have had to enter on the 30th. I doubt the tournament had opened by then.

No simply because they are not really brackets, they are separate tournaments with different rating restrictions but the same name.

It still confuses me though how he can have two different tournament ratings, for a tournament released at the same time. All the Licinius tourneys just came out a few days ago.


Regardless, he either removed himself from the 1300-1400 or was removed, just a moment ago as the other full licinius tourneys kicked off.

It is rather simple. The tournament only checks your rating when you sign up. Therefor if he was eligible for one and entered it then won enough games, he could go back and sign up for a higher section as well.

See post #3. His rating was not low enough when the tourney opened. Anyway, admin have sorted it out.

Yes. The administrators removed him, and are questioning him about it.
