I vote 3/14 OR 7/7. But I will follow the group. I will contact Nathlowe, the leader of Clan RUSH, to see if he is interested to join, help us get 24 players.
I like the idea but I won't be able to play from late may til june 20th. So unless it's a 21 days timebank I doubt I'll be able to make it (and I hate 21 days timebanks so if everybody is like me I doubt that's how it will turn out).
But pm me next time you do it, sounds interesting!

If my understanding of the Swiss format is right then I don't think this is possible considering the set up options for private tourneys. What do you consider a fast time control?
I'm not sure from your post if you're in or out. If you're in then we have to find at least one person able to match you... as well as finding a match for Green Frog.

If we get the banded tournaments up and running hopefully you'll be able to play then.
22 in and 2 places remaining. We might have to do a bit of juggling. Hopefully one of those will be rated 10-1100. If not Green Frog may pull out and we have 3 places. Unless you want to play anyway mate. We'll all probably be hammered by Galaxy and Ichibanov anyway.

I hope something gets going. I didn't want to jump in and start dictating because it won't be me setting them up. Shall we discuss banding limits and then we can see who'll do each one and one's in each? Then later we can all fall out over sandbagging and start calling each other names 🙂
3 tourneys would be acceptable - I'd be prepared to host one to get 3 off the ground....

I'd be happy to host the 1400-1800 band. I reckon that there are enough clan leaders out there to make a decent 20 player tournament in each band, if not more.
A quick look at the current clan table shows 17 pages of clans with 20 clans per page - got to be a good number of people interested. And you've got to get to the middle of page 8 before you get a 1 man clan. That's 153 established clans and leaders before you get to the first 1 man-er.
I think that there will be a lot of interest with a few PMs - sure, the middle band will be the smallest, but then, we can make that the biggest size - 32 in that and 16 in the other 2. Must be possible...
