You have plenty of time to play the games.
Next time you enter a tourney look at how big the groups are going to be as this will tell you how many games you will get when the tournament starts.
Groups of 4 = 6 games
Groups of 8 = 14 games
Groups of 16 = 30 games
Group of 32 = 62 games
Now stop being a wuss and play your games.

Last summer, I entered two tournaments, and found myself suddenly in a third tournament round 2 when I already had enough games to play. I bit in the sour apple and played. Some won, some loss, but averall, my rating took a dip.
Just take on the games and learn from a good experience. Don't ever play more games than you really want, and that is done by not enter new tournaments lightly. Have always room for an accidentally progression to a round 2.
Just remember that you don't always have to have 0 games waiting when you leave the site. Play a few moves, go do something else. Come back a few hours later, make a move on an older game..
This is how i do it now, and I've improved greatly.. no longer do I try to make a move in every game waiting at each sitting
