I love duels, but do you have any idea how many years it will take to finish those??? I'm thinking there will be more than a few games won due to people abandoning the site.

Yup, I see the same problem. The tourney's are going to be 50+ in rounds, and with a 3/7 time control...If they were something like 1/3 or 1/7 then I could see that working.

We'll see how it turns out.

Hmmmm, I haven't really thought about the time controls when asking if a tournament like this could be created. Oh well, you should have adviced me to do so when I first launced the idea a week ago...

256/2 = 128
128/2 = 64
64/2 = 32
32/2 = 16
16/2 = 8
8/2 = 4
4/2 = 2

My maths isn't great but surely this is 7 rounds plus a possible 1 or 2 extras becuase of draws?

in the 0-1400 group there are two players who have increased their rating above 1400 since joining.

Thats correct, but one round at 3/7 tends to take 3 months.

But you won't be allowed to because you're a non-sub. Neither will you be able to beta test new handheld things as it appears you're non long on that list. Enjoying non-sub life?
