update- seeking one more player to pair off for first 2 games with 'Peter Jacob' If not in time to start on Monday no problem! A late start is ok! 10 players x 2 pairs . all 8 players should now find a game in their in boxes some time Monday! If they do not they should message their paired opponent and arrange either player to send a game or both as agreed between themselves.With 10 players 5 will retire and 5 will go through to round 2 and 3 will retire,thereafter 2 will meet in the final which is 4 games. the first named in the pairings have been asked to send one game to the other or 2 by mutual agreement? If there are any problems relating to the sending of the games either recuvic or grampy bobby can be contacted and offer assistance where needed! I will be checking out the games sometime late Monday or Tuesday to see that all is well and all games are under way! Other interested players may join at any time and provision will be made for them to join the group. the game is fischer random chess or chess960 with no castling either side and 3 day move plus a 7 day timebank. timing out opponents is at all players discretion! more later from me as necessary recuvic

Tukumnieks is now with us and we are all most grateful to have such a prolific game and tournament player/winner on board with us! He will prove to be a terrific addition to the group. He will now be paired off to begin ASAP with his first opponent and first two games against username-Peter Jacob. Peter Jacob will be asked to kindly send 1 or 2 games to tutumnieks fischer random style unrated castling disabled to commence play at once. More on this and other matters later today. recuvic😵

further to the above-with 10 players actively on board the player pairings are as follows for the first 2 games round one-grampy bobby v bobbyt65/doug989 v pineapple42/recuvic v rene pogel/sirlurch v skipstammy /peter Jacob v tukumnieks. All players have now commenced at least one game with the exception of peter Jacob v tukumneiks which is expected to commence shortly. Tournament game play is now 9 opponents each player 2 games each=18 games first round all players play all players. second round 5 players play 4 opponents 2 games each = 8 games and round 3 final, 2 players play 4 games or as many as required to decide winner? All players therefore play 18 games first round. the 5 second round players play 26 games ,and a minimum of 30 games for the two finalists or more as necessary . Accepting now up to two further entrants upon request. The number of players will be limited now to 12 maximum. After the first round one results come in the tournament player acceptance will be closed to new entrants this tournament. More information here later- Recuvic😲

tukumnieks is currently playing maximum number of games [6] and is therefore for now at the present time unable to accept a challenge from username Peter Jacob. when that situation changes a first game can be sent to his in box. he will also need to change his challenge settings ratings limit and time out settings to allow the game to be sent. more up date on this as it becomes available😲

As expected some games progressing fast some slow and some neither. Some already concluded. Please try to ensure games being sent are 1- white to play first! 2 castling disabled both sides of board 3 randomly placed fischer random style setup. 4 all games set to unrated only. more later Rec.😉

All players in random tournament are requested to inform recuvic or grampy bobby at the conclusion of each 2 of their games if they have a 2 game win/ a one game win one game loss/ or 2 games draw. If they do not do so their game results, may not be collected! It is also acceptable to post these results at this thread under the heading-'my results'. Username must be attached .
