Hoping for 'the dirty dozen' it seems that we will have to go with the terrific ten instead. Player pairing are finalized and most games now in process of being played. total games first round 10 players-18 each player /2 games v 9 opponents=180 games, second round 5 players-8 each player/2 games v 4 opponents=40 games, and 2 players final=4 games. total tournament games expected 224 but more if no score difference after 4 game final Total games each player round one is 18. round two is total games each player 26 and two finalists total games 30, or more if no result after 4 game final. todays closing news=peter Jacob has started his first of 18 round one games and it only remains for Ronald brown to be sent his first game in round one. This is expected in the near future! It is quite likely that not always will 2 games be sent by the same player. one game is likely to arrive in your in box from one opponent and another game perhaps from a different opponent. These messages will not receive a reply but will be used to obtain results data. All players who either win or draw a game/s are to send this information together with the opponents username to Recuvic. as soon as possible after the game is completed. Players are not requested to advise of game losses. Additional games pairings cannot be scheduled until this information is sent and received.
Rene pogel-has unaccountably ceased all play here at rhp these last 9 days and concerned that he may be sick or otherwise indisposed a message has just been sent to him in the hope that all is okay? Monday-October 6 is the last day set for contact with rene pogel. Hopefully contact will be reestablished by then? If not any existing tournament games will be timed out or otherwise voided. any previously completed random tournament games results will also be voided. tournament then continues with 9 players. 5 top scorers from first round will proceed to round 2.
