how about a world cup t'ment where each continent submits a player
from 2000+ 1800 - 1900 1700 - 1800 etc but can only submit 1 player for each rating....ratings must be judged over 6 months..
except England, Germany and Holland who can enter an entire team
and the teams below
Rest of Europe
North America
South America
Asia
Australasia
what does everyone else think????????

"Australasia"? 😕 And what happened to Africa?
Edit: And there aren't that many players from Germany on this site. I believe there are more people from Canada, South Africa or Ireland, just to take some examples.

Indonesia is in Asia! Australasia and Oceania are pretty much interchangeable, and refer to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific nations.
I would think it would be really hard to pick just one person from each contienent. Maybe have a qualifying tourney where the top 4 finishers go into the main tourney perhaps?
