@torunnsaid I will be watching Ludvig Åberg challenging Scottie Scheffler in the final round today.
The young man looks to have a bright future ahead and hopefully not just in golf. FYI, my first round this year was, generously speaking, “less than stellar”.😲😢😁
Well as it seems we may have to actually lessen our hours of operation, due to what appears to be less interest in our wares, I have booked a tee off time and in about an hour’s time I will be meeting up with my golf partner, to enjoy our first round of this season.🏌️♂️👍😁
@drewnogalsaid In the UK we have to apply for a new driving licence at 70 then every 3 years after that. We have to sign a declaration that we have no problems with the following -
dementia
insulin-treated diabetes
Parkinson's disease
epilepsy
any chronic neurological condition (such as multiple sclerosis)
any condition that affects both eyes, or total loss of sight in one eye.
In Ontario, when you reach 80 you have to take a knowledge test, every year, to keep your driver’s license…and pass, of course.😲😁👍
@very-rustysaid I never learned to count past 228 so I don't know what number this might be.
Talking about tables we have a round one now instead of the old square ones. Many people have them now. Some use an Island with the round stools no back support, don't care for them.

The first “round table” I had was in my first apartment. It was huge, sat about 12. It was one of those cable spools.👍
@drewnogalsaid I suppose I was thinking of an age when someone has retired and one’s siblings and contemporaries are starting to ‘disappear’? When life gets quieter with fewer social contacts.
Point taken but being of “an old age”, I am a firm believer that it can be said that you’re as old as you want to be. There are times I “feel my age”, physically (some arthritis/stiffness) but for the most part I don’t.
