One thing I want is to have the new games on top in the game page.

New games has no date as "Last Move Date", only a hyphen. This hyphen is sorted as Jan 1st 2000.

If the hyphen is replaced by Dec 31st 2099, then I have the sorting order I want, and the problem is solved.

Why is this important for me?
I have the the sorting order as "Last Move Date" descending. Ths means that new games (when a tournament or a league is started and a get a buch of new games) these games sort itself at the bottom of the page, unvisible if I don't schroll down to the bottom of the page.
Often I don't discover new games before moves is dropping in at the 1st move, and therefore having a valid "Last Move Date".

Ummm, no I don't see the problem.

When Firefox closes, I have it set to NOT delete cookies.

In Options, I set to always Allow cookies from redhotpawn.com.

I do not understand why it's not saving my sort preference.

Perhaps it is saving it but not reading correctly? I dunno.

Can anyone help me?

Okay, okay, problem solved.

I went in and deleted the old rhp cookie and came back to the site and now the sort order is saved.

Thanks for the heads up that it was a cookie problem.

We need the option to sort our games with the most recent mover at the top of the list of games and the bottom of the list contains those that have not moved for some time

That's already there (I use it all the time). Just click on "Last Move" once more, and the order is reversed.

Also, in Firefox simply hitting the escape key will stop the animations.

Russ - thank you for your efforts in tweaking the improvements. It makes playing much easier for those of us with a high game load. What you do is a big reason why I like RHP and play here exclusively.

😀 Thanks, I was about to post a turd in a box to Russ, guess no need now 😀

I was blinkered by the shock of all the changes to the my games page that I could not see past the option being removed.

The archive games are showing just one page, am I doing something wrong apart from not subscribing :-) Clicking on the arrow to the next archive page, just brings up the inbox.
Message "Sorry, you have no games in this folder ."
