Clan clean up

How about admin getting rid of dead clans.
Some even one on page one has no leader lots of them
Time to remove the dregs.

those "dormant" clans have still contributed to the 2017 clan table and have challenges going - if you take those clans out then points for other clans will go too.

(i.e. too much work for admin i suspect)

There are clans still out there that has not moved in years
Don't see the point in keeping them
The minute a leader is a non sub and on going games ended.
The clan should be disbanded
No need to do any thing with the points.

If you have a player in your clan if his sub runs out he's kicked after 30 inactive days.
It happened to one in my clan

But some clans still have non sub leaders who have not moved in years

indeed - but it keeps the scores for previous years - unless its better just to have the current (or the last 3 years) on the system?

It might be a good one for site ideas?

I'm happy with the way it is. It only seems to be you that's very unhappy with the system. You're going to have to learn to live with it. Nothing's perfect.

I do not accept the current situation and you will never convince me that it is a fair way of working out which is the best clan
I will continue to try to change it at every opportunity

Are you happy with a system that has Lemon Drop in 2nd place?
I do not think so it's time to open your eyes and get with the programme of replacing the current system

Lemon has won more than he has lost
He must put a great deal of time and effort in to the clan.
Nothing really suspicious about the results s few dodgy ones against the sisters.
I would say the current system is the fairest
Russ has done well closing some of the loopholes
Dead players
Too many challenges against the same side
Five move minimum to stop early resigning and timeouts.

A one man clan or a very small clan has as right to win the title as a large clan.

but the system of having it by most wins would have lemondrop's clan in 1st place? (which you mentioned earlier in the thread?)

Can't support you there Captain.

Lemondrop is as bad as Carrobie sandbagging his rating and being fed points by the sister clans. He should be the next to go.

I offered what could only be described as the fairest system that could be introduced in the site ideas forum. It would be fair, reward clans for small losses as opposed to bigger losses and would be easy for Russ to implement.

Padger seems hell bent on introducing some lame ass system that doesn't incorporate negative points. This would only see the clan who plays the most games becoming the victor. Negative points is essential with the clan structure the way it is. Clan league caters for the sort of stuff Padger wants.

The system we have could be improved but overall it's not that bad. It is what it is and we all have to play by it so there's no point in getting upset about it.
