I explained my position to lemondrop a few days back.
That being the merits of the current scoring system as opposed to the alternatives put forth.
He seemed to understand my point of view though he didn't agree with it.
But at least the exchanges were respectful.

As to Padger, I think he is still working on his comeback. 😛
