there are many reasons why people want to forget 2016, i actually don't think it was that bad a year, brexit ( i don't care), trump (he will be gone/assainated soon), celebrity deaths (most of them were dying age), syria (when was there not some conflict in middle east, peaceful time ever?), terrorist attrocities (not new, really sad its on the scale it is but always been a threat, have the media forgotten about IRA, PLO, etc, if you grew up in London and are my age the chances of being blown up seemed even more likely than now or maybe just caught by a nailbomb- i was in Manchester the day IRA blew up Arndale Centre, that was fun), and 2016 the Easy Riders, a plan that took years to get together and worked, excuse my ramblings i've been on the Bengal Lancer

Nothing there is stuff of genius.

Especially the 2016 collusion.
Just lock 3 morons in the same room together and they were bound to come up with something.
All with the same driving force.
No life to speak of and full of grievances about the other guy.
Or the other clan !!
