Over what time period is this calculated?

My site high is 1499 about 5-ish years ago, and my TER is now 1074

Tournament entry rating is 100 points below highest rating in last year.

Ok, that makes sense. I've been sucking for almost two years now (explains why my TER is so low compared to my all-time high). It also explains why Mctayto's TER is lower than it should be. He's been resigning tourney games for way more than a year.

And Carrobie is on record as saying he doesn't play in tournaments.

It is tournaments that can pull an average opponents' rating down.

Carrobie's average opponent rating is 1406 in last 90 days.

I regularly play my friends. Infact I am playing two at the moment. Settl rated 1100 and Startreader also rated 1100. You could play your friends too if the concept of having any was not entirely alien to you forkers ol boy.

Um, you CAN play your friends in "unrated" games so it wouldn't screw with your true rating.

But then that would mess up your intentions, wouldn't it??
