It looks like IVV Clan 24298 have been hit by an internal hatchet job with their former leader now "removed" ... But not before he'd booted the clan's founder @widget and a couple of other long term (and active) members. He still holds the leader's flag so are they done for or just regrouping?

A number of IVV's long-term players were booted or have left on their own. Our 'removed' idiot Anglian managed to restructure the clan in the time he was trashing it... so who are these new players he brought on ... and are they equally idiotic.

@widget saidWidget it's not your fault. Your players will come back if you take the leader role even only for a while. Anglian was on my team, I booted him because he was a cheat. I told everyone in the forum, and leaders I played in matches that he was a huge cheat. Nobody listened to me. You and I never spoke about it so you did not know. Not your fault my dear friend.

He was a con man, a cheat, and the only thing that matters is Russ caught it and did the right thing. Thank God for Russ.
Your players love you and will follow you. Take over and boot who ever he brought in and explain to them nicely you are making changes. That is it. I have had to make changes yearly. It happens.
I saw the people who left. They will come back if you take over again. But it is not your fault. It started with my clan. I booted his butt out as we don't cheat, we don't sandbag. His real rating was over 2100 providing he was not using an engine. He wanted to take over my clan when I got sick. I did not give it to him. I have three people maybe 4 that would take over for me.
Anyway, there are no sour grapes, the guy tried doing it to me. I really tried to tell everyone. He did a lot of things that were not legal in the TOS. Move forward, forget him, and do what makes you happy. Don't listen to anyone who is throwing blame or anything negative towards you or anyone on your team. They are all good people. Get your people back in my humble opinion.
The guy was a cheat. Nothing else needs to be said about him. lstcry was or seemed to be a great supporter of him despite having the truth told to him.
Just be careful he does not try to come back as a 1200 player to join your team again. He is a huge sandbagger which is one reason i booted him.
I hope you take your team back. Then pick who you want to run it well.

@widget saidWidget, I so wanted to tell you personally but I figured you would think I was jealous of the cheater being in first place. I wasn't. Most never thought of him as winning anyway. They knew he was a cheat. I did put it in the forums though.

I give you my word, because many of us are and will be watching, if anything looks weird or history repeats itself, anything I know I will share with you especially if it has to do with your clan, the clan you built. I know Coquette will come back, in my heart I know. The others will come back to. Take the lead then ask who wants to take over for you. And then you just play and have fun it that is what you want. You have wonderful people there that care about you, and I am sure you will find someone to lead for you.
Just keep your chin up my friend. You built the team and should be proud. Coquette did an amazing job as well.
I promise, I will tell you when something is going bad. I'm sorry I did not tell you sooner.

Agreed. I played him a couple of months ago and saw he was throwing open invite games after a few moves to keep his rating down when he was much stronger in reality.
I knew soon he was bad news but still not soon enough as he was with me for a month. He is easily over 2100 in rating unless he uses a engine.
I did not know about throwing open invite games. I knew he was keeping his rating 500 points lower than his real rating. And he cheated his way through. Russ took care of it so he is gone and we just have to keep our eyes open for him to pop up again. And we should help Widget in any way we can. That behavior can kill a clan. But Widget's clan has strong good people. They will get through just as Widget will.
In my humble opinion. I told every leader that would listen. As well as the forums.
I believe widget was treated very poorly by the fellow who took over his clan and booted him off of it. I believe widget should get re-instated as Clan Leader, then if he wants to pass it to someone trustworthy, that would be entirely up to him. I think before he turns it over though he should boot anyone he doesn't know or trust in my humble opinion.
I am happy he got the boot from Breaking Bad as he was trying to steal the Clan from VESPIN (Michael) who put a lot of years into it and learned the ropes as he went. Michael did good to boot him when he did. He did manage to stop us from any chance at first place, personally I am happy to see him gone. lets all keep a watch out for him as he could return as a new 1200 player!!!
EDIT: It was nice to see the players who left IVV after the booting of widget in his support, I do wish they re-join the Clan once he gets it back and decides what he is going to do from there.

I remember warning our team in a mass message. But it's hard to understand it unless you are in the thick of it. The guy is NUTS he has to be. I warned every leader I played that would listen, and I posted in the forum along with Rusty, he also warned everyone and if truth be told, the leader of a certain team warned me first. I don't want to mention his name as I don't think he would want me to.
But I did warn people. And several if not many people jumped on the bandwaggon and supported him. Calling Metallica and BB names. Well we don't cheat, we don't sandbag, and we don't support people like that.
I feel horrible for Widget and all the players on that team. All good people, and they did not deserve that. The good news which we should focus on is that he is GONE FOR GOOD THANKS TO RUSS.
I say we keep an eye out but move forward.
