Does anyone here like it?
I must admit I've grown rather fond of the new series over the last few years.
The odd duff episode, sure, but on the whole it's been consistently good.
I think maybe the rather unsubtle post-9/11 fear, paranoia, religion & political themes rather put some off.
A shame it's ending at the end of this season (4) but hopefully it will be a good finale.
Originally posted by SquelchbelchIts weird poor special effects and somewhat gay plot, but other than that its ok.

How would you like a Star Trek remake and that Captain Kirk is played by a woman?
It's not right. Just plain wrong.
Originally posted by shavixmirThis Starbuck incarnation fights more, drinks more, smokes more, screws up more and has a whole lot more sex than the original character.

These things make her more believable and human. Not to mention Katee Sackhoff is drop dead gorgeous!
Does "Star Trek: Voyager" ring a bell mate?
