Remarkably he did not so he is quite grateful and appreciative. Nice find after a hard day of homework, extra class work and meeting a deadline moved ahead a week.

Stranger things happen at times! He is so busy with his band rehearsals the rest of the time he just spends dissecting the practices with the band members. He is really delighted with the site!

He plays mostly metal, artsy rock like Dream Theater and is experimenting with jazz of all things. The band has been in flux for some time now. First drummer went off to college. Special effects guru ran off with my son's GF and bass amp(we recovered the amp, but GF is best being rid of, LOL). Bassist/singer was kicked out of school for going off campus to smoke dope(not that it would be OK on campus either). Now there's a new drummer, better than the original, a new singer and they plan on adding keyboards. I dunno how keyboards can be integrated into metal. Is it still metal without the pure raw sound?

Never hoid of that one, will check it out too. Nice site. There is a piece there on the origin of Sebastapol tuning and the origins of the Spanish Fandango, apparently written in the mid 19th century, every fingerpicker HAS to learn🙂 This article was done by Stefan Grossman and Ry Cooder, two of my guitar hero's.
It even has a video of Libba Cotton playing it. ( she was a great guitar player, left handed playing a right handed guitar because she didn't know any better, her parents had a right handed guitar and she had to teach herself her own method, now called Cotton picking. Back in the day, she fed me a nice chicken dinner in DC).
