When are these guys going to finally get the respect and credit for influencing much of the music "created" in the last little while?
Long maligned as cheesy synth pop that quickly became outdated, we see bands like MGMT in a song like "KIDS" using the "stars on 45" and "Hooked on classics" pseudo-hand clap mmche - mmche- mmche first popularized by Kraftwerk.
Listen to "She's a Model" by Kraftwerk. MGMT/Crystal Castles et al should be driving down the autobahn to thank these guys
