@vivify saidIf he flew commercial, there would be 350. TONS less of CO2 in our atmosphere.
Your "question" was answered. You just don't like the answer.
Don't you think Kerry would rather spend less money on cheaper, renewable fuel than on increasingly more expensive fossil fuel? Everyone would. Republicans continually block that possibility.

Exhibit A: AvJoe
He is causing my tomato garden to struggle, I can hear the plants trying to breathe.
You fellers are REALLY bad about issues. Sonhouse is the worst, with Trump being the downfall of all that is holy, but you are a close second. I forget, BTW, are you the communist, and I think Marauder the Marxist?
@sonhouse saidHim too. What is wrong with commercial flights? They go everywhere. I think Delta has about 30 flights a day from Chicago to NYC.
@AverageJoe1
What about your buddy Ron Johnson?

Ron and Kerry can fly first class! And Kerry could get a haircut at the airport, which he usually never goes into.
@metal-brain saidGolly I wonder why Manchin doesn't want to spend more money, get more taxes, while inflation is spiraling. Why, all the other dems want to!!!!!
Democrat Joe Manchin is blocking it too. You cannot blame only republicans.

I know you are likely kidding, but some people might take you seriously. Your tomatoes love the increased CO2. It is good for food production. More CO2 is a good thing. Our planet has been CO2 starved for a long time. Nothing could be better for the planet than more CO2.
The CO2 increase is a tiny fraction of 1%. Hardly enough to change much. It is all a scam. CO2 lagged behind temps in the ice core samples. They are trying to fool us with a backwards cause and effect. There is no evidence CO2 is causing climate change. It is a mere hypothesis. and nothing more.
@metal-brain saidJoe Manchin is a conservative from a red state.

@vivify saidHe is a democrat and democrats keep voting for him.
Joe Manchin is a conservative from a red state.
Why do democrats tolerate a DINO like that?
He is just helping make my case that democrats are right wingers.
@metal-brain saidHe's apparently the best Dems from a red state can get. Either vote for him or let an even more right-wing Republican get elected.

@metal-brain saidOK. You got me, I don't have a garden, and dont know about what co2 does. So it is good for plants. Are you saying CO2 is no problem? What are you saying? Take away my off-the-cuff comment about tomaters, and tell us about CO2, it makes for healthy environment. Great that you are saying climate change is not man-made. Not many folks on this forum agree with you.

Edit: I know nothing of science to speak of, but we are talking about carbon emissions, I assume? The black stuff in tail pipes, smoke stacks, such as that? I've always thought that it is bad for us, and assumed carbon is bad for plants?
@averagejoe1 saidWhy do you think indoor cannabis growers buy CO2 tanks for their plants? CO2 is an essential plant nutrient plants cannot live without. The only way it could be bad for plants is if the amount is really high. Right now we have very little CO2 in the atmosphere. Not enough for optimal plant growth and not enough to cause global warming.

Also, a warmer planet means generally more rainfall world wide. It would not cause droughts like many morons claim. Food production would increase. Look up the Pliocene Epoch. The earth was much warmer than this from natural causes. Don't believe the idiots who claim CO2 caused that warming either. The more the climate warms the less CO2 the ocean can hold, so it is expelled into the atmosphere increasing CO2 AFTER temperatures warm. Colder temps have the opposite effect.
The ice core samples DO NOT prove CO2 caused global warming. CO2 lagged behind temperatures in the ice core samples. The ice core samples proved temperatures caused increased CO2 in the atmosphere. That is all!

@metal-brain saidI learn something new everyday. In a nutshell, all I hear from are lunatic climate people is that it has something to do with carbon emissions.

I cant really read links, I am more of a people's-thoughts kinda guy. So I get from you that CO2 is good. And, that it is related to carbon emissions, which are also good?
If I am wrong, would it have made a difference if I had said that CARBON is being released by the jet? You see, the headline of the news report says CO 2 in the negative sense.
@metal-brain saidYou clearly haven't been paying attention for the last 6 years.
How can anyone be more right wing than Manchin?
@vivify saidYou havn't made a case against it. I have been paying very close attention. Manchin is farther right than most republicans. You clearly haven't been paying attention for the last 6 years.

@Metal-Brain
When the ice melts around the world you might think all that extra CO2 is GREAT for plants but where will you plant them when the entire world has no coast any more when Florida is all underwater, where you gonna plant crops THEN eh?
How many folks will die of starvation when all that happens eh?
@sonhouse saidOk, a disagreement. So, you scientists, tell us what is the deal. We know CO2 comes from natural processes and from human activities like burning coal and oil. Yet Metal seems to say it is no big deal that Kerry deposits 350 Metric tons of it into the atmosphere.

I have assumed that that is just horrible, especially when you add to that all of the jetting by the horrible (job-creating) rich people, in their jets. So this is why the thread. So back to the question, is there one lib here who will call John Kerry out for this???????
