@AverageJoe1
Why do you keep ragging on that? NOBODY is saying we can't have guns for home defense so why do you keep ragging on that issue?
I suspect it is for one reason only, to get some treehugger to object so you can point out once more how stupid liberals are.
@zahlanzi saidTo their credit, Walmart
Nobody but the most hippie pacifist says you should not own guns for defence.
Just pass a damn training course and exam like you do for a driving license.
Just not have Ar-15's in walmarts just like you can't drive tanks on public roads
Just pass a damn psych eval.
Just don't give guns to domestic abusers.
Just don't allow rednecks from red states sell their personal guns to whomever in a back alley.
no longer sells firearms.

Guns never defended anyone.
The best thing a gun can do is kill someone else as well.
@jimm619 saidJared Lee Loughner.
That one wingnut who shot Arizona Congresswoman
Gabby Giffords was just released from the 'bug house,'
and was still allowed to LEGALLY PURCHASE a firearm.

As I went to source this post, I could find no mention of the shooter being
committed to an institution. He wa ...[text shortened]... .' He was, later sentenced
to life in prison.

What do you mean he was 'released'?
He got life plus 140 years and was sent to the Big House.
He's currently at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota.
If he EVER gets out, I might have to have a talk with him.
@averagejoe1 saidYou should actually read it some time.
Common Sense is hardly something to be lauded. It is common sense.
You HAVE heard of Thomas Paine, haven't you?
@jimm619 saidSure, if he had a co-signer. But no, if I felt I would never be repaid.
I wouldn't know about that.
Never done it
As for 'common sense,'
Would you lend money to someone that
had no visible means to repay the loan?
Common sense. You wouldn’t either, for the same reason. Now this is where Libs will come back with ‘what if it was your brother.’
@shallow-blue saidYou got a point.

There are more accidents, many involving children,
in homes of gun owners, than there are self defense incidents.

@sonhouse saidNo, I truly feel that many on this forum have written against gun ownership. My apologies.

But then that begs the question, what have all the gun discusses been about, other than obvious Distain for AK 47s
@shallow-blue saidThank you for acknowledging my comment. At least you are good for something.

The vid from the OP should shared wide among criminals, it's not that the shop owner/manager does have a gun, it's that they might.

@averagejoe1 saidThis is great! More store owners should defend their property instead of demanding the police do it.
Which of you fellers think that we should not own guns to defend ourselves....I forget. I LOVE this.

If only the Walton family were willing to risk their own lives to defend their property we wouldn’t see problems like these:

Pleasanton police today are searching for a man who robbed a Wal-Mart store at gunpoint Sunday afternoon, according to the Police Department.
