Did trump really want to bomb Iran?

A sort of parting gift to the world? A last blast of the bugle? A final finger to rationality?

What ya think?

He's laying landmines and booby traps for Biden to walk into. He wants Biden to fail, so he looks better in 2024.

Do you remember the scene from Der Untergang (Downfall): in the bunker, Hitler is screaming at his generals, oblivious to the truth all around him?

That’s what trump reminds me of.

Edit:
And seemingly not only me!

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/11/17/politics/trump-future-white-house/index.html

CNN headline: “trump bunkers down in White House.”

To quote from it:
When he ventures downstairs for meetings in the Oval Office, he often remains late into the evening conferring over his chaotic legal efforts and wondering why more of his lawyers aren't on television defending him.
During a particularly heated session last Thursday, his deputy campaign manager accused his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, who was on speakerphone, of being a "f**king a**hole."

"Time coming soon to say goodbye with grace & dignity," Rivera tweeted. Trump spent the ensuing weekend making false claims that he "won the election," including in all capital letters, that social media outlets labeled disinformation.

Trump has made policy and personnel moves from behind closed doors, including firing the defense secretary and preparing the Afghanistan and Iraq drawdown orders. He reportedly asked about options for striking Iran during a meeting last week. And his administration is scrambling to harden efforts on deregulation and immigration before the end of Trump's term.

Hahaha... it truly is like the film!!

The thing that struck me about the Downfall was Hitler actively seeking the complete destruction of Germany, not rather than, but because of it’s / his defeat.

Trump sacks cyber security boss who told him the election wasn't rigged.

Christopher Krebs had refused to back Donald Trump's baseless claims that the recent election was fraudulent.

The guy is mentally ill. I have a genuine fear over what he might do in the next couple of months.

I see a similar mindset in Trump.

For him The Presidency isn’t about America, it’s about him, it’s all about him. A deeply flawed human being, a malignant narcissist and megalomaniac.

This unravelling of his administration is quite fascinating and yet scary to watch.

What I find really scary is the unwillingness of rational Republicans in powerful positions to challenge his outrageous behaviour. OK, they're worried about their own paypackets, I get that. But don't they care about the country they claim to be so proud of?

Politicians start out caring but once they get to the top it's all about themselves and power and money.

Yup.

And they will always get away with it because all the stupid lemmings care about is that *their* fraudster wins.

power to the people, man.

“power to the people, man.”
To the lemmings surely.
How can they be lemmings and people at one and the same time?

Ahhh, I see, that explains their behaviour and makes it ok to still support them.

Got it.

I see what you did there...

Everyone’s a fraudster so Trump is just like the rest and the rest are just like him. So it’s ok to support him.

Got it.

I didn't say I supported Trump. I'm a Libertarian.

Trump never worked for the BigGov before = no prior baggage.,
