@suzianne saidThat is the point.....people we dont even know. If we dont have to know them, there would be no one for us to regard with disdain.
How do all you people on the right manage to build up so much hate for people you don't even know who just so happen to be different from you? Not everyone can be cisgender, hetero and white.
But, they project themselves, Sue. They are in our face, they bother us like gnats. The Bud Light creature, for instance. To take your point one more step, I will manage to 'build up hate' for Budweiser.
Now you get it ........................right?!
@soothfast saidI knew of a child whose fingers of both hands were joined like a paw. The Dr simply separated the fingers, with #11 scalpel. Similar procedure as circumcision, , a bit of touch up. Somewhat superfluous.
Yet...
...somehow...
...I'm sure circumcision gets a pass.
Doesn't the newborn boy get a say in the matter? And why not?
Pitiful that you compare the procedures. Why don't you write about Trump?
@Mott-The-Hoople
I am a bit reticent to go down a level, but I think an analogy is in order for Suzianne.
If she has a kennel, and some of the male dogs in the kennel become overfriendly, for lack of a better word, with other male dogs, ........ what would she do?
Won't respond.
@averagejoe1 saidprobably sit at the edge of kennel salivating

@averagejoe1 saidUh huh.

Nah, you've made no case here by comparing the correction of a birth defect with circumcision, which repairs no defect.
My point here is that society does accept a little bit of genital mutilation as "okay," because it's a religious thing that goes back over a thousand years. You might ask where the line should be drawn between circumcision and a sex-change operation. I happen to be very skeptical of the idea of "transgendering" a minor, but maybe we could learn something from a considered reflection on what is, in fact, considered okay to do to a newborn.
@soothfast saidBS. Truly. You ignore that it is for personal hygiene? You are aware the religious roots are Jewish? There are other reasons. I’m a wasp myself. Circumcised. For hygiene.
Uh huh.

You libs entertain. Ill give you that.
Jesus, there are no words for you liberals. To change someone sexuality or identity, or all of the things that go along with that, at their moment of birth, is a whole whole whole whole lot different than a simple circumcision. The latter has no effect whatsoever. The former… Big, big, big effect.
Jesus.
@averagejoe1 saidYes, I'm aware that it is a Jewish custom (I did mention religion), and I'm aware of the hygiene argument. So what? If dodge ball were an Olympic sport you'd be the Fort Knox of gold medals.

@soothfast saidYeah I guess so.

??
@averagejoe1 saidSigh. You need more dots connected...
Yeah I guess so.
??
I asked where the line should be drawn between circumcision and a sex-change operation. One is ostensibly done for hygiene, or physical health, and the other essentially for mental or emotional health.
@soothfast saidGenital mutilation is, then, I assume, for the mental and emotional health of the parent? I am just trying to learn here!! Amazing. Hundreds of years and then this discovery will change the world, for the better, as we know it.
Sigh. You need more dots connected...

This may be the farthest-out of a typical liberal that I have eve seen. Mutilate the sex organ of a child. Jesus you all make me sick,..... as you know, I am glad I only do this for fun.
Here is one for you, mr communist.
You and I are at lecterns on a stage in Kansas. All attendees are citiazens of an 800 citizen town. I tell them that you want the town treasury to pay for all the loans that wee taken out by students for college. You then say that is correct;
I say that I am totally against it.
How do you think the townspeople will react?, Sootfast??.
(Glad I caught you before you go into ghost mode. I predict that I will never use that word in a sentence, y'all are so weird. What is some other word usage that is growing in your circles?)
Anyway, how will the townspeople react? Can you answer without fluff?
@averagejoe1 saidNo, they do not. This is a despicable lie. They just want to be left alone.

And no, I do not 'get it'.
