Sue and Shav....
Can you tell us, with straight type, that it is acceptable, as we go into Progress-World, that a strong brute of a man race against girls in a swimming pool? And can you answer that solidly, which means not to interject the latest social breakthroughs (progressivism) casting all the self-made unreal new light on the competitive swimming world? ...[text shortened]... ? No sarcasm, or cute little snide remarks, ...educate us descendants of 10,000 years of evolution.
I reject your stupid 'givens'.

Whatever Wildgrass. But can you not just answer the question? May I simplify it? A neighborhood of kids has a swimming pool… about 15 girls show up there one day, and 15 boys. The girls have a race. Should a boy get in the race? Geez.
We fully expect you to say is OK. But, We non-progressives want to know how you can arrive at such a conclusion ; large strong boys, girls not so much.. Standing by
Girls and boys can play together, princess.

Stop being a stick-in-the-mud.

I think there is a serious issue with trans women competing in female sports, n so far that people take these games seriously.

But that opinion has nothing to do with the right of someone claiming to be a woman or man or a 9 armed space alien.

I don’t get why it’s such a big issue for right wingers.
Anti-gay, anti-black, anti-commie, anti-trans.

WTF is wrong with you all?
Why care? It’s pathetic.
Could you be the person here to explain how it is OK. Please. You never say it isn't OK, you Never say it is OK. Pick one, please, and explain. We are, with an exception , all adults here.

Here, I think you're making up a fake problem. The NCAA has a set of rules to address this. Very few real athletes complain the rules aren't fair. I don't know why politicians feel like they need to stick their noses in every aspect of our lives. Republicans are amplifying a problem for political gains, ignoring the fact that, nationwide, there are only 30 transgender athle ...[text shortened]... Less than 1 athlete per state. Let's leave sports to the sports people, not the political schmucks.
Wildgrass....please . And, note Shav says above ' who cares', about our little girls competing with people, men, twice their size and muscle. We can assume that he has no daughters, a run-of-the mill shagger.

Please: You write about NCSS, politicians, Republican, political gains, sports people and political schmucks.
But the question on the table is about 15 girls in the recreational center of Kenwood, Kansas, being forced to race with boys.
Please Wildgrass. That is the question. I might as well throw in that your best friend's daughter is in the race, he is an emotional wreck. Help him. Please respond here.,

Good post. Links, please??

They probably know more about that stuff than you do, precious.
My late wife used to tell my kids they can be anything they want.
That was a lie. It was a noble lie to attempt to instill confidence, but still a lie.

All parents lie to their kids.

Generally: I couldn’t care less.
What’s it to me whether you perceive yourself as male or female or something in between?

And I have stated my opinion on this, multiple times: I don’t believe in gender fluidity. I think there are men and women and sometimes, physically, something in between.
I think it’s a mental issue. An acceptance issue, if you will.

But I think the same about Gods.

And just like I believe in the right for people to believe in whatever mental construction of religion they want to, I believe the same about gender.
If you’re over 18 and want to be a trans-gender tripod from Mars who believes that Jesus came from Jupiter, be my bloody guest. I don’t care. It’s not my problem.

If it makes you happier that I refer to you as Mr. Jellywhoppadoodledoo… what’s it to me?
And as long as you clean the toilet after you’ve been (I don’t mean scrub, but leave it in a normal state) I don’t care if your tripod Marsian arse uses the same one as me either.

And I really don’t care about sports. It’s a game to me and then it doesn’t really matter if boys and girls compete on the same floor.
However, people seem to think sports are important (why? Why don’t they just watch porn and do something healthy instead? ). And if that is so, then there is definately a debate to be had about trans-women competing with women. I don’t know enough about hormones and muscle mass to make an informed opinion on the subject, but I’m certainly smart enough to comprehend it’s worth a public debate.

So? Why is it such an important issue for right-wing conservatives? Jesus walked around in a dress. WTF’s your problem?

I did tell my 90 year old granny that she looks beautiful today. You are right , Suzianne, as always. AvJoe lies.
You're in you're 80s and have a 90 year old granny... 😳

Awww, I was 100% with you until the last large paragraph.

I won't bother to comment on it, as you left it hanging by not telling us why it is OK for a boy to crash a girl's swim meet. Why do you and your counterparts here avoid answering this simple question? I can understand why Jesus ware the robe, not unlike the easterners of today. No problem. (why do you say 'dress'? curious,, just trying to stir up a simple post, I guess. You Ade better than that, it something the jester would say)
Anyway why is it OK for a boy to crash a girl's swim meet? Tough question for a liberal, as well be many questions we cons will pummel you with. Ask us a question.

You've got quite the beef here. I don't get it. Sporting bodies make rules, people sign on to the rules, and then people play games based on those rules. Is everyone in Kenwood, KS following the rules? If not following rules, they should be penalized according to the rule book. If someone felt like the rules were unfair, changes can be made to the rulebook. What's the problem? Why the insistence that jack booted gov't thugs knock down the locker room door and tell people who is competing?

Why would little girls be competing with men twice their size they’ll surely be competing with little boys who will on average be less developed than them?
Maybe you should stop your little girls going to Republican conventions if you do not want them playing with grown men.

YOuo are exactly right, and I agree with what you are saying. Any competition should of course, have rules and proper management.
But that is not the issue. There is no NCAA or Olympic Committee. Just some kids at the local pool, the girls line up to see who can get to the other end of the pool first. Some boys show up,, having just lifted weights. They dive in the with the girls, and, of course, win. All of the boys finish ahead of the girls.
Is that fair? Y'all dodge this issue like Biden's press sec4etary Psaki dodges and spins questions.

Who's dodging that question? You are talking about a random day at the pool with some kids racing each other? Of course, we have women's sports to address issues of fairness.

What exactly are you asking for as a solution?
