I listened to Kamala Harris' speech, as well as listening to one of Trump's speeches. What a difference!

Harris:

Grocery Prices: The Harris campaign said the candidate would work in her first 100 days to help Congress pass a national ban on “price gouging” for food and groceries, as well as give the Federal Trade Commission and prosecutors authority to go after companies they determine price gouge, support small businesses in the industry.

Housing Costs: Harris wants to provide $25,000 in down payment assistance for first-time home buyers and is calling for the creation of three million new housing units within the next four years,

Child Tax Credit: Harris proposed giving families a $6,000 tax credit for newborns in their first year of life

Taxes: Harris also wants to expand the Earned Income Tax Credit for workers in lower-income jobs, which would cut taxes by up to $1,250, and has previously said she would continue President Joe Biden’s promise not to raise taxes on American households earning $400,000 or less annually and does support raising taxes for high earners.

Trump:

She's a terrible person

She's Communist

My crowd size is so much bigger than hers. Did you see that tiny crowd? It's so small!

What's she doing right now? She doesn't know what she's doing!

We're going to lower prices (no specifics given)

America is in a horrible place right now (no specifics given)

Crime is rampant in America - We're going to fix that! (Violent crime is down 15% from the last 2 years)

America's economy is horrible (no specifics given)

We're going to make America great again (no specifics given)

People who support Trump are the gullible ones; the man is thick as mince and can hardly string a coherent sentence together.

Mchill’s contrast of the two speaking styles and their content in his OP is spot on and you know it.

Start preparing to “stop the steal” (sic) because that’s your best strategy now I would think.

You realize she is attempting to fix the consequences of her administration’s policies not the root causes. Throwing more money at issues without addressing the root cause will only exacerbate what is going on. Dragging the country deeper into debt, and going after food price gouging is another way of price control. Setting up a government agency to oversee food like that will send prices up and limit supply.

They lie about raising taxes, they play a shell game because nothing is free we all pay!

And I hope you realize that corporations engage in price gouging of consumers on a fairly regular basis, due to the conservative inspired watering down of regulations that used to prevent this (I would classify that as a root cause) All Harris is trying to do is to put some teeth back into these regulations, so the average taxpayer is not fleeced by corporate America any more than they already are.

Speaking of the national debt - I saw no evidence of your deep-seated concern about it, when the debt exploded to all time highs under the Trump administration. That only seems to occur when a President has a "D" after his name.

give an example of this. You libs spout out a lot of accusations but never any proof.

Corporations produce goods, inflation makes the price of everything go up. The materials corporations must acquire to produce those goods costs more.
That increase has to be passed along.

Just one example, to produce food a farmer has to have diesel for their machines. Diesel is over $1 per gallon more than it was under Trump. Can you tell me why fuel prices are so much higher now than when Trump was in office?

The US is producing more oil than ever before, why are we paying more now?

Why are we raiding the strategic reserve right before elections?

You gullible fools are a embarrassment!

like I said…give me an example of what you claim
