Abortion vs Contraception ??

I'm just wondering.
And maybe wasting my time with this thread.

Why do people who are anti-abortion also anti-contraception ??
There does appear to be a contradiction here.
That being, that contraceptives reduce the need for abortions.
So why would conservatives oppose something that would reduce the need for abortions ?

Maybe some conservatives can step forward here and explain this ?
And please stop that we are just trying to follow the constitution.
You know..... let the states handle this, etc, etc, etc ....

Besides, there is talk about codifying an abortion ban by conservatives if they get control back. Meaning at a national level.
And the Dems will do the same thing validating abortion if they get in.
And Clarence Thomas has weighed in (like a neutral judge).

So stop talking about letting the states solving this national issue.
