It also seems like ACORN has become the #1 favorite target for conservatives.
Originally posted by sh76I agree -- Halliburton was a major target. And I'd bet there are a lot of people who have no idea what Halliburton does, but just know that it's "up to no good".

Originally posted by MelanerpesI actually don't think they are in eachother's back pocket. I only think one of them is in the other's back pocket.
And Big Evil Corporations are definitely the liberal's "version" of the conservative's Big Evil Government. (Never mind the fact that these two leviathans are in each others' back pockets)

On Glenn Beck’s radio program this morning, Beck played new audio clips from a fourth incident that had also been taped under-cover. This tape comes from San Bernadino, Calfornia. Once again James and Hannah pose as a prostitute “Eden” and a pimp and are speaking with an employee named Theresa.

Are there no procedures in the U.S. for handling alleged evidence in what seems, on the face of it, to be potentially a criminal case?
Originally posted by FMFI am no lawyer but, I would think this stuff is evidence enough to have congressional hearings on ACORN. The woman theresa who talked about killing her husband might have some questions to answer from the authorities,as well.

Originally posted by utherpendragonUnverified material like this isn't compromised as evidence by playing it between ads on talk radio?

Originally posted by FMFYou may be right. As far as I am concerned ,they should not be receiving tax dollars. This is a very shady group from the top down and they hide behind a mask of helping the poor.

Maybe the people who have this material in their hands don't want it ever to go to court.
Originally posted by utherpendragonYes they were accused of voter fraud. But by whom? It was ACORN that reported the said fraud to the electoral authorities. In such circumstances why does it matter that they they were accused of voter fraud? If this is the best you've got in terms of acusatory integrity, why should we give any of your OP any credence?
ACORN first made the news when they were accused of voter fraud in 2008, when some of their employees submitted false registration forms with Mickey Mouse.
