@Mott-The-Hoople saidHow convenient you left out this part of the post:
that is not the question asked. nice try
here is the question...
" Outweigh this. A female Democrat senator said yesterday that closing down the government is their only leverage. So in that statement, she has stated that the Democrats have closed down the government. It also confirms that it is a total political move to keep the government closed where peopl ...[text shortened]... posts more interesting. Sonhouse 2.
Joe you constantly repeating BS doesn't make it any less BS."
AJ: Next, you will find the only reason that they have closed it down is to provide free medical care to illegal immigrants.
This is BS no matter how many times you right wing morons say it.
@sonhouse saiddidnt get this one because we were not talking about tarriffs, you talking to yourself. Did you say i don't know about tariffs. You know about tariffs.......
That would be because you don't know CRAP about how Tariffs effect economies. You just take your Lord Trump's word and can't see the economy starting a slide downhill ONE HUNDRED PERCENT because of Trumps Tariff wars.
Did you forget about the part when one country starts a tariff war, OTHER COUNTRIES RESPOND IN KIND.
Tell me how does that help OUR economy and the WORLD ec ...[text shortened]... o a mind as weak as yours you will NEVER see a link between tariffs and economic disaster LIKE 1930.

@no1marauder saidGlad to oblige. Now you will oblige your readers, including me, as to whether you adhere to her way of thinking? Agree with her?? Did I say illegal immigrants? I was being too respectful of the woman, I mean all immigrants.
Then you should be able to give me a link to a Democratic Senator saying the government shutdown is to get health care for "illegals".
Have at it.
Yes, I did say senator, she is house minority whip. I have had my hands full dealing with the slip-shod Sunhouse. Go read some of his no-posts. Unbelievable. Still trying to impeach Trump.

@no1marauder saidI missed something. If I move o Mexico, wil they cover 'cost of government housing' for me, as you put it.? Why would thy do that? Maruader, they owe me nothing. Are you suggesting that we owe these transient people a place to live?
There are no "health care" costs except some reimbursement for hospital emergencies which is small potatoes.
We agree the wealthy should pay a higher share of government spending, but the economic impact of 7.5 million jobs and added consumer spending is good for the entire economy, not just the 1%.
Present law doesn't allow asylum seekers to get work permits for, I ...[text shortened]... san bill Trump killed would have, would considerably reduce the cost of government housing for them.
Straight answer?
@AverageJoe1 saidWell, what do you think?
Stees says the illegals are not taking jobs. He is further saying that everybody in this country who wants a job can freely find the job they’re looking for. That is what he is saying. Does everyone agree with that?
There is an x amount of unemployed people in the country
And there is Y amount of job vacancies.
And the result of exporting labour is Z.
Should you be exporting labour?

@AverageJoe1 saidAsylum is a legal process guaranteed by US law and international treaties we have signed.

Yes, we should house those who are requesting asylum here if necessary though we'd have to house fewer if we let them work and earn their own way.
EDIT: Actually asylum seekers are not eligible for federal welfare or housing assistance benefits.https://www.karlaw.com/blog/what-benefits-do-asylum-seekers-get-in-usa/

What we have here is democrats “ignored” the law allowing our border to be over run.
Now there is a huge mess.
America had an election and the majority voted for the man that said he would rectify this.
Asylum has conditions that must be met…
@Mott-The-Hoople saidOne must be in the country to apply for asylum and the law states you can do so regardless of how you got here.

@no1marauder saidWe should? House them? what in the hell? If I were in Mexico would they house me? You and your housing people are a pitiful lot. If you and I and the housing people were all in Yahoo City, MS, you and the housing people would TAKE MY TAX MONEY AND THAT OF MY KIDS JUST STARTING OUT, and you would, (let me know if I got this right), provide housing to some people from Mexico who want to begin a life in....hmmm, let us us see, what town will we pick...how about Lubbock TX , or a bit farther south to Yazoo.

You cannot respond in Common Sense, nor Logic, nor Rationale.
You take your faux liberal to extremes. You believe none of what you preach.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidHe can only quote legal dictum, principles, such as that. Not normal conversation, like if he, you ,I, Sonhouse and AOC were having a chat about What Is Happening On The Ground!
