Zohran Mamdani's past comments are once again coming back to haunt his New York City mayoral campaign, as a resurfaced video reveals the socialist candidate floated the "abolition of private property."

"My platform is that every single person should have housing, and I think faced with these two options, the system has hundreds of thousands of people unhoused, right? For what?" Mamdani questioned in a resurfaced video that has been clipped and reposted across conservative social media.

Look I get it. You don't get it. Not because you are a bad person or anything, but your culture has predisposed you against workers, workers rights and unions. In the late 19th century and early 20th century your great men, whether JP Morgan, JD Rockefeller or Henry Ford all hated unions and organized labor and did their level best to destroy them. Same in this day and era. Musk and Bezos will not tolerate organized labor and would prefer their workers to slide into a Neo-feudalism.

That's your culture. I get it. My culture had the unions organize themselves into a political party that has been part of the country since federation in 1901. Its fundamental to our way of thinking that workers rights are never to be trampled on.

As I said we have different cultures and we approach issues with vastly differing perspectives. We don't see the same playing field.
What sounds like communism to you, is just our system which is capitalist by nature but with a secure safety net that helps people who may have lost the ability to help themselves. What you say is capitalism sounds more like oligarchy, wrapped in populism, reeking of fascist dictatorial demagoguery. So yeah we don't see the same picture, but that's good because we wouldn't want to be the same, now would we?

Reducing military spending by a half a percent is not cutting it in half.

Wouldn't it mean more to spend our time and efforts to return education to the States? The obvious intent of the constitution was to give states such powers, not the federal government.
