They're doing two things in New York City to cope with the illegal immigrants:
Using school gymnasiums to house them, and putting the II's up in hotels.
Problems erupted.
First, the hotel rooms cost money,, lots of money. Also, they took so many rooms, tourism was down,, like - way down.
Between the loss of revenue in tourism and the cost of the hotel rooms the city lost $4.3 Billion in revenue.
So now Mayor Eric Adams has turned to housing folks in school gymnasiums but this has caused a huge uproar with parents
He has asked the City Council to get rid of the Right to be housed in NYC because he cannot now house the domestics homeless.

That is, for our citizens. I cannot fathom our SS money being given to illegals. They could go back to MX when they get old.
