There is no evidence that carbon emissions cause global warming in the earth's atmosphere. Plants grow better with more CO2 so you are just suggesting a war against increased plant growth which means more food for people to eat.

We need more CO2 in the atmosphere so plants grow better. The ice core samples proved that temps were driving CO2 level up in the atmosphere, not the other way around. Al Gore lied.
When the ocean warms it cannot hold as much CO2 and it was expelled into the atmosphere much the way carbonated beverages cannot hold as much CO2 when it gets warm.

Earth now is great, but it's just slightly too warm. 2 degrees too warm. We have ideas for keeping it as cool as we can for the next generation. Even in this generation, keeping the earth cool will save lots of money. Let's do that.
