You make only $15/hour for hard, brutal work? What a shame.

But it's 100% okay for NBA stars to make millions by throwing a ball through a hoop!

And pretty girls and boys on TeeVee make millions too by reciting some lines somebody else wrote.

Enjoy flipping burgers, Worker, the revolution will soon be upon all of us.

You're talking to the people that spend money to go to those games and concerts. I don't spend money on NBA players.

If you want the Humble Worker to do better, teach him to resist spending money on luxuries like the NBA and celebrity rappers.

If you are going to abolish the NBA the Worker is not your ally.

You may want to take a subway ride to Harlem and lecture so many there that but & wear Yankee, Mets, Giants, etc... jersys, hats, etc...that collect welfare & food stamps, and ask them to stop supporting those overpaid sport stars.

Let me know how it goes.

Oh, oh, oh...and talk to all the folks that wear college sportswear, that have never been to that collage, maybe never been to any college, but still fork out $75 for a team jacket. Heck, do a little survey for me. Every time you see someone with a Notre Dame clothing article on, ask them where the school is located. Most won't know. They would even know what state its in. And these are the people your going to try to convince with logic? I truly wish you luck.

Man, while your intent may be in the right place, you really have no idea.

Your typical burger boy flips about 25 burgers an hour so in 2 hours he might provide his service to 50 people. 50.

An NBA player, will provide his services to approx 20,000 people in the audience for a 2 hour game. An additional 1-50 million people on television and radio will watch and listen to him perform his services.

Dont' you think his service is worth more than the burger boy?

You know the only difference between greed and jealousy? Greed is when you covet what you have. Jealousy is when you covet what you don't have. For every greedy capitalist there is a jealous socialist -- morally speaking there ain't a dime's worth of difference between them!

Players sell their skill as entertainers, for which others are willing to pay them. Its supply and demand, that's all. The more scarce something is, the more it is worth. A big, flawless diamond is worth more more than a piece of gravel, but nobody seems to find that "troubling."

If you could do what that NBA player could do then you would be making that $$$, however, the sad fact of the matter is that you CAN'T!! In fact, there are few who can. Now if the average "Joe" was able to do what he can do then he would NOT be making that much money above that of the person who flips burgers.

It's about the value of work.

NBA stars are grossly overpaid for what they do for society.

But you can't say they aren't doing anything for society.

Actually, there's plenty troubling in the diamond industry. For a start, there's the artificial inflation of demand by restricting supply -- but there's also human rights abuses associated with that industry.

Don't buy diamond rings -- you're contributing to human rights abuses.

A lot of the community service these players do is because they are ordered to by the judge because they got caught with MJ.

And the money they donate helps them out on taxes 🙂

And it bothers you that some people make this kind of money and you do not?
