I suggest you look at the end of the first line in the OP there was a question there. Rhetorical question is a question.
Do you know what a rhetorical question is?

A rhetorical question is a question someone asks without expecting an answer.

Who will look into those taxes I wonder?
The IRS ... who else cares?

I asked the question because it was one that I wanted answered, rhetorical is more of a statement not a query. I was expecting an answer!

Okay then, yes.
It would be better to closely scrutinize someone who profits from being a politician.

Trump made his fortune in the private sector.
He's a lobbyists worse nightmare... he doesn't need them to enrich himself, because he's already wealthy.

All of this stuff is peanuts when we are about to see an avalanche of findings in the next several days. Lying to FISA judges, a house of cards. Senior officials were trying to coup a sitting president!?!?/ On the very day Hlllary was cleared, that is when the Trump collusion foolishness began. This aint goin away, you liberals, you!!

I'm not suggesting he not be scrutinized as well. Anyone who can profit from being a politician should be looked at. I would also point out that even the rich can be greedy. The same can also be true with a D or an R behind a name, greed isn't limited to just one party its a human trait.

That is not intended to be answered.

You should have asked the question then.
You really must improve your English.

Why?

If they profit while being a politician, maybe.
If they profit illegally of course.

But why should we be concerned about politicians making
money when they leave office? Maggie Thatcher earned heaps.

As did Reagan.

They should look at them all, Obama, Bush, and Clinton too, while they are looking at congress.
I would like to see who all benefitted from the sexual misconduct slush fund.
