Here's Biden saying anyone responsible for 200,000 deaths should not be president and promising to end Covid:
PROMISES KEPT LOLOLOL
I recall members here claiming Trump should be charged with murder for 200,000 people dying of Covid, what about your boy Biden now that we're past 800,000 under him with no sign of slowing down?
@mott-the-hoople saidYou mean, leading the state that stopped reporting Covid death rates months ago?
blame DeSantis for what? leading the state with the lowest covid death rate?

Easy to have the "lowest rate" when you stop counting.

@shallow-blue saidthe numbers are so low there is NO NEED for a daily count.

Read your link…
“COVID-19 cases have significantly decreased over the past year as we have a less than 5% positivity rate, and our state is returning to normal, with vaccines widely available throughout Florida,” Pushaw said in an email.
The change is immediate: COVID-19 case and vaccine reporting now will be available on a weekly basis at floridahealthcovid19.gov every Friday.”
why do you lie when you say they “stopped counting”?

@shavixmir saidIt is milder than Delta - that's essentially clear by now. For people fully vaccinated (and especially boosted), this seems milder than the flu.
There was no vaccine roll-out under trump, so you can’t compare the situations, 💩-for-brains.
Biden has rolled ot out, boosters and all. And you and your class of morons have denied the oppertunity offered.
You choose corona. You choose omicron (and it is bloody well coming for you)*. You choose wave after wave of measures, instead of tackling the cause of the proble ...[text shortened]... I hope for your sakes it’s a milder variant than Delta. Or you’re gonna get hit really, really hard.
To blame any government for deaths caused by generally mild respiratory pathogens (especially those that are now treatable and for which reasonably effective vaccines exist) misses the point.
It isn't March 2020 any more. There are vaccines. There are treatments. COVID is a risk that people need to decide for themselves how to best tolerate or not tolerate. You want to get vaccinated? Do it. You don't? Your choice (a stupid choice if you're old or fat, but probably not so stupid if you're 25 and healthy).
That governments continue to behave as though they have control over COVID is a real-life study is a form of government-level Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Watching them double down on closing borders to try to stop a respiratory pathogen already in their countries is almost comical, if it weren't so tragic.

@mott-the-hoople saidVaccine was created in Germany.
no…Trump created the opOrtunity for everyone to be vaccinated.
biden inherited the vaccine that Trump was responsible for creating.
Trump caught COVID and had 2 big macs and 2 fish fillets sent to Walter Reed.
Just in case he made it.
@dood111 said60% of Americans are fully vaccinated.

Most other developed countries are over 80%.
Why aren't Americans going in and getting vaccinated ?
Why are several GOP run states using every attempt to throw sand in the gears of the vaccine rollout ?
Florida and Texas the worst of those. Blocking federal attempts to get the vaccines into the arms of every eligible American.
What is an acceptable COVID death count for DeSantis and Abbot in their efforts to regain the House and the Senate in 2022 ??
Biden gets credit for creating a vaccine rollout plan.
Which Trump should have been doing between Nov 4, 2020 and Jan 6, 2021.
Instead of screwing up troop management in Afghanistan and sabotaging the incoming administration.
Instead of trying to overturn in the courts an election he clearly lost.
Instead of trying to "dog whistle" a violent insurrection on Jan 6th.
For some of you who are salivating a Trump return to the White House in 2024, the question that needs to be asked is if we are still kicking COVID around in 2024 because of the Trump disaster in 2020 COVID response or the DeSantis and Abbott (and others) political insurrection in 2021, do we really want this orange clown leading the world in the fight against this pandemic or other crisis going forward ??
Really ?? Does the world really want this clown ??
And please.......no talk about communism, socialism ...... or free stuff for the neighbor down the street.
Enough of that !!

Just how much evidence do you need before you finally accept the stone cold fact that it is impossible (and I mean impossible; I'm not just using a hyperbole) to vaccinate COVID out of existence (at least with the vaccines we have now)?
@sh76 saidDo you dispute that the difference between a 60% vaccination rate and a 80% one in the US would be millions of cases and probably hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations and deaths?

The GOP by litigation and State laws continues to fight against measures that would effectively increase the percentage of those vaccinated as well as eschew those which tend to reduce the spread of this disease.
@no1marauder saidI do. I dispute that.

Hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations and deaths? I'm not sure about that, but I'll stipulate to tens of thousands. Almost all of those are people who voluntarily refused to be vaccinated. Cases are irrelevant except insofar as they relate to serious outcomes.

The disease is going to spread regardless, whether slower or faster. You can't force people to take a shot and the vax mandates are extremely blunt and non-targeted. Come back to me with some sort of vax mandate only for the high risk and install an antibody titer or previously infected exception and we can talk; but a mandate that 12 year old boys who recovered from COVID last month needs to get vaxxed or be shut out from the basketball team is flat-out insane.
You can't just to that thing where you say this legislation would save lives and therefore if you're against it, you're killing people. You need to look at all aspects of the legislation to determine whether it makes sense.
@no1marauder saidOnly a moron would dispute that fact,
