Why was it decided in some of these states to count the mail-in ballots last ?
That decision give Trump the opportunity to claim victory by 11pm. Hmmm ??
Some facts around this.
Trump was openly telling his supporters at his rallies to vote in-person.
This effectively tilted the Trump support to the in-person votes and the Biden support to the mail-in votes.
Then counting the mail-in votes last allowed Trump to have the lead early and Biden to catch him later on.
And this allowing Trump supporters to cry foul.
And this was planned, imo....
1- Trump claiming the election was rigged months before the vote.
2 - Trump claiming mail-in ballots were "fraudulent". At the very worst, the process needed to be tightened up. But by telling his supporters to vote in person, he could claim that the mail-in ballots (tilted towards Biden) were fraudulent.
3 - Republican governors desperately trying to kneecap USPS in the weeks leading up to the vote.
4 - by delaying counting the mail-in votes so they were counted after the in-person votes, created the late night vote counting that led to the cries of fraud.
Trump lost. And he knew he was going to lose. Months before the election.
