How is this possible?
Student loans are between the govt and the student, how can he hold the colleges responsible? They weren't part of the agreement between the individual and the government.

The problem is when you make education a private business. Profits matter more than a college student's education. For-profit colleges are a huge problem in the U.S., who charge exorbitant fees.

These make the loans students have to pay back to the government needlessly inflated.

If they learned real trades they would be doing well.

They aren't claiming these are fraudulent scam colleges, they are real institutions.
When you apply for a student loan you must be going to a federally approved college/university.

This simply tells me that the worse-off-now students made bad choices? Defrauded by having gone outside the realm of dealing with the tried and true.? I could ramble about that, using Trump College as an example...not exactly an established institution, so new that it was not yet rated. But the students enrolled without counsel?
All this prefaces my question, and that of JJ, what have the government, and we as taxpayers, maybe next-door neighbors, got to do with those contracts?

Many of today's snippets are pointing out how he has NEVER taken any responsibility. He blames on people and entities other than just Trump.... The media, whomever is handy. Probably worse, he does not have such a phrase in his vocabulary. George Bush said it often. Google it.
Why do our libs here never say " I wish Biden would man up."
