Let's be real, folks. Of course he was going to pardon Hunter. Any one of us would do the exact same thing under the circumstances. It's his son. You think he wants to see his son go to prison and then have to live as a convicted felon?

It happens in Britain as well. The minister (of homeland security or some sort of internal office) can show leniency or intervene with the justice process and make sure a criminal stays in prison longer.
