@Mott-The-Hoople saidWhat an idiot.
I think what escapes many here on this thread is what constitutes a lie.
A lie is saying something you know not to be true.
Now, what has Trump lied about?
@kevcvs57 saidAnd how about Roger Stone?
Ha he probably got reminded that the last guy pardoned scum like Flynn and has promised to pardon insurrectionist scum and he’d have really dumb to let his blood go to jail in todays USA
As for lying 🤣 it’s clearly what the majority of the US electorate prefer in a president 🤷🏻♂️
Stone would've been sent to prison for the rest of his life had he not been pardoned. No one in the Trump administration deserved it more (except maybe Trump himself) for what he did to America. I felt Stone was the least defensible of all the pardons of his cronies. And strap in, 'cause in exactly 4 years, we'll see this entire raft of Trumpublicans get pardoned for their extreme crimes against humanity.

@AverageJoe1 saidWhat an utter fool.
Biden will pardon his entire family.
A certain Trump-hater just predicted that Biden will go down as worst And most corrupt of all presidents.
Hey, he beat me to it.
After everything the Trump Crime Family has done?
All you guys got the Biden hard-on only because you got butt-hurt hearing us accurately describe your guy as the single most corrupt president ever.
And nothing you say will ever change that.
@AverageJoe1 saidThere's something really creepy about you trying to pass as a five-year-old every day.
Kellyjay is right. Sue, join the adults. You would not get away with this on a Yale debate stage.
You could start a thread on it?
We know it's because you can't defend your Trump-love.
@sh76 saidIt's understandable sure.
Look, folks. Let's just take a step back and look at this rationally, shall we? The point isn't whether the pardon was "right" or "wrong" or who opened the door for this sort of thing (Trump did plenty of pardoning, but his was hardly unprecedented - remember Marc Rich?).
This is really not a partisan issue. It's a human nature issue. Even if Biden were clean as the driven sn ...[text shortened]... hould he want to protect an organization that just kicked him to the curb (albeit with good reason)?
But he shouldn't have made unequivocal statements to the contrary to avoid the political consequences of such an action.
@AverageJoe1 saidOf course it's a correct statement.
No worries, I will do it myself. Is it not a correct statement?
You need to get your debate badge pretty soon.
Given Trump's love for lying, and your love of watching him do it, I just never thought I'd see those words come out of your mouth. But then, I usually assume people are not hypocrites until they show me they are. And you're a hypocrite about 100 times over.
Just the price of being a Trump apologist, eh?
@no1marauder saidGiven the way Trump has used the office of ConMan-in-Chief to buffalo so many American into voting for him, I think Biden might be excused for giving him the full middle finger on-camera. After Jan. 20th, he's out, so why not? I'd be rather hard-pressed to not do it to his fat, orange face.
It's understandable sure.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidAre you kidding?!?
why do you place limits on who Trump can pardon?
I dont think you realize the door that has been opened
Seriously, are you kidding?
Look at all the criminals Trump pardoned last time.
Someone should tally up all the prison time he saved his partners-in-crime.
Several people have been talking about how maybe the presidential pardons should be limited. It wasn't designed to save your entire administration from going to prison.
@Suzianne saidI don't do "whataboutisms".

Right is right and wrong is wrong. It was wrong for Joe to claim he wouldn't pardon Hunter during the campaign and then do so after the election.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidDo you want the whole list?

We don't have that kind of time here.
@no1marauder saidWell, the sad fact is that Trump has changed the entire landscape of what is permissible in Washington DC. This was the inherent danger of his ever acquiring the White House. We all knew he would ruin it forever, simply because he's changed the way people think about presidential etiquette. Nothing is too outrageous now.
I don't do "whataboutisms".
Right is right and wrong is wrong. It was wrong for Joe to claim he wouldn't pardon Hunter during the campaign and then do so after the election.
If Biden had it in his power to keep Hunter from being the GOP's whipping boy, and possibly going to prison, when a man much more deserving of prison still walks free, then good on Joe.
