Impeached, but exonerated and found innocent.
Not correct. Trump was not found innocent. Several Rep. Senators publicly declared that what Trump did was wrong and improper, but not wrong and improper enough to merit removal from office. Other Rep. Senators said that the American public would ultimately decide whether Trump's malfeasances were grave enough to remove him from office; they decided, and he's due to be removed on January 20th.

It should be remembered that Trump did not actually believe he would win the election in 2016. He was as surprised as the rest of the world was when the EC handed him the Oval Office, despite losing to Clinton by about 3 million votes. Trump was out of his depth from day one in the OO, bluffed and faked and his way through, and now his bluff has been called and the fakery exp ...[text shortened]... time of crisis. Some men have greatness thrust upon them and fumble it; that will be Trump's legacy.
Correct........
He survived (not exonerated) Russia collusion, affairs with porn stars and who knows who else, the Ukraine President fiasco and numerous investigations that sent his associates before the courts (and now pardoned or lining up for pardons).

It is only fitting that what got him in the end was ........ incompetence !!!!

Yet there are those out there who want him to have another 4 years.
If you ask any sane person on this planet if this clown should be the one to take on the COVID 19 crisis going forward from Jan 20th, the overall response would be ........ ARE YOU NUTS ????????

Yet, some of you out there can only come up with ......
But, but, but ...... God sent Trump to America.
Democracy shouldn't get in the way of that.
Pathetic !!!! Simply pathetic !!!! 😢

While some foreign media (notably Russia and Iran) were gleefully commenting on the failures and decline of the American democratic system, I tend to think it did what it was supposed to do.
It's not perfect, but Nov 3rd demonstrated that it worked to large extent.

Some gains by the GOP (or at least holding their own) sent a message to the left side of the Dems (AOC and co.).
Now wait a minute !! You're too far left !!
While at the same time sending a clear message to the occupant of the White House that he got a failing grade.

30 days to Jan 20th !!

Biden beat Trump in the popular vote by 51.3% to 46.9%. https://cookpolitical.com/2020-national-popular-vote-tracker

Dems won the House vote by 50.8% to 47.7%. https://cookpolitical.com/index.php/2020-house-vote-tracker

There doesn't seem to have been a lot of voters who thought Trump was unacceptable, but his party still is.

The sooner the Republican Party dumps Trump and Trumpism, the sooner the country can get back on course.

Well here is what I think will happen. Jeffry Rosen becomes AG for a few weeks but Good Ole Boy Jeffry is even MORE of an ass licker than Barr, if that is possible.
Barr said nothing to see about the Hunter Biden affair and he should know, being AG.
But that won't stop tRUMP from telling the NEXT yes man to go after Hunter and Good ole boy Jeffry will do exactly what tRUMP wants.

I also wonder if tRUMP will actually try to pull of martial law using federal troops.
My guess is the military will not obey such a stupid command.

tRUMP is after power pure and simple.

I would not put it past him now, in his present mental state, to start a war somewhere, most likely Iran JUST TO CAUSE TROUBLE FOR BIDEN and nothing more. tRUMP is EVIL. The opposite of Live.

Trump is desperate, not evil. He is desperate to remain immune from prosecution until the statute of limitations expires on several lawsuits already in the pipeline wherein he is the defendant. One of the charges is a felony, and, if convicted, he could serve time. He does not like that prospect, obviously, so he is desperate to extend his presidential immunity another four years. If the Republicans would only look at his real motive for staying in power, they would dump him like hot plutonium. He has no political agenda at all; he's just trying to stay out of prison at this point.

I sincerely hope he goes to prison. For one thing, a convicted felon cannot run for office in the US ESPECIALLY POTUS.
I want to see his political power nipped to ZERO and Trump to become the laughing stock of the entire country including Moscow Mitch who hopefully will be thrust into the dust bin of history if dems win those two senate seats in Georgia.
The vote for the runoff has early voting of 1.6 MILLION and of course we know a large number of those voters are republican so it is not a slam dunk we will be able to bypass Moscow Mitch come January. Biden won Georgia by only about 12,000 votes so there still is a large Trumpite voter contingent in Georgia.
