hate, it's indifference.

I think they were getting on fine and learning a lot from each other
until the other goons in the house wanted their share.
I can't see how Shilpa was playing a racist card. She genuinely believed they were being racist. That is the only way she could have interpreted it. She does not understand Jade's background, and vice versa. Jade completely misinterpreted what Shilpa has been saying and that started a row. This is what I mean, their backgrounds are poles apart.

You are right, opposite of love is indifference (never said they hated each other, although Jade explicitly said that she doesn't like Shilpa), and they are far too different.

I have a great deal of understanding of Indian culture, and Shilpa is a typical Indian woman. Has spent most of her live with her parents and this is the first time she has travelled without her mother. It is typical of a woman to remain with her family until she gets married. Therefore she has been quite sheltered from conflicts such as this one and hence does not know how to handle it. She definately isn't "fake" as some of the others have referred to her as.

As you say, a lovely girl pity the word 'humility' is missing
from her expansive vocabulary.

Never said that she was perfection. It does not justify any of the others ganging up on her. She did not want to start any conflict.

She just did what she thought to be natural (which was perceived as un-natural to some others in the house), and got an unexpected backlash.

To be fair, she did had hassle / bullying from a number of different people over a number of days (Jades mum, Jades, Jades boyfriend, Ms ex-UK and pop star wanna be)

So i think in light of this, she has done well.

What a krok. She was already plotting about what would happen
if someone else used something from her wishlist before it even
happened. And when they split all the supplies so nobody could
do that, she went ahead and complained anyway.

She was behaving like a spoilt brat and she got treated like one.

Got to admit that I arrived late in the game. Only been following what has been going on after all the media coverage. What exactly was she plotting?

All I know with regard to supplies was an argument between Jade and Shilpa about Oxo cubes.

I don't think she was plotting anything. From memory, 3 of the 4 chicken stock cubes where used at once. When she enquired with the 3 girls, an argument erupted.

To be fair, maybe Shilpa could have spoken in a different manner and Jade & co could have not been so selfish / replied in a more diplomatic manner.

To me it just looked like they where going to argue no matter what, its pretty clear that they do not like Shilpa, girly bitchiness or clash of cultures.....who knows...maybe the house is starting to get to them all.

All I know with regard to supplies was an argument between Jade and Shilpa about Oxo cubes.
They were given an hour to write down a list of supplies they needed
and they all decided to spend a fiver each and get what they each wanted.
And Shilpa said 'What if I order Musli and I wake up and somebody
is eating my musli?'

Anyway they ran out of time and 2 of the puppets were called in
to write the list for them which effectively nullified anyones claim
to have ownership of any particular items.

Shilpa then went ahead and claimed that she had some kind of right
to the oxo's because they were on her original list.
She actually said that they were all that were on her list which is the
bit that got Jades goat.

My point is she was already in the mindset to contend over food
items and was looking for a fight, which she got.

A) I think this has been blown completely out of proportion.
B) I think the media build you up to knock you down. This was pretty inevitable.
C) I always wonder about the people that went to public hangings back in the day, and treated it as a family day out. I felt like I was at a public hanging (and getting some kind of sick enjoyment) while watching tonight's episode.

However, she and the black fella were referring to
Jades mum as 'white trash'.
Calling Jade's mum trash is insulting my trash and I won't have it.

HOW MANY BB CONTESTANTS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHTBULB?

Just one, they hold up the bulb and the whole room revolves around them.

how does UK use it?

Its not really a common term. Chav is, white trash is not normally used.

And Chav is normally used to descript a class of people such as....upeer class, middle class, working class...or Chav. So its not really a race term as it can apply to all colours of people. A black person can be a chav, just as a white , brown or yellow person also.

Not sure if some of you watch the tv show, but its making all the wrong headlines in the UK.

Is the treatment of Shilpa by fellow housemate racist or women being bitchy ?
What would Shilpa's treatment of an untouchable be in the big brother house?

And once that's been unearthed, then let's talk about kettles, pots and the colour black.
