— Henry Kissinger
Since 2008, a massive shift has occurred from active toward passive investment strategies. The passive index fund industry is dominated by BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street, which we call the “Big Three.” We comprehensively map the ownership of the Big Three in the United States and find that together they constitute the largest shareholder in 88 percent of the S&P 500 firms.

I'll bet they own the most stock shares in the baby formula makers, big pharma, oil refineries and the corporate news media in the USA.
Guess who is behind the fertilizer ban in Sri Lanka. Blackrock.

Easy prediction since Blackrock is causing the food crisis to get worse.

@Metal-Brain
It seems that noone is contradicting you. Do you want to be contradicted?
Of course there is a problem if companies own companies, that own companies and on can't really deconvulate who "really" owns what.
And of course the C-suites are also having their own agenda and if the head a company that is mostly ownd by companies, they are "controlled" by otherC-Suites, with probably the same mindset.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
@ponderable saidI didn't know it was Blackrock until I watched Kim Iversen's video, so this is new news for me. I think I read Blackrock is invested in a lot of food corporations too. If what I read was true they have a lot to gain from reducing the food supply.

Most people do not realize how powerful Blackrock and Vanguard are. That needs to change. They are a threat to us all. They want to profit from hunger and suffering. Make no mistake, people will starve to death in third world countries and they know it.
@metal-brain saidSo Ukraine should surrender to Putin because they are just a tool of multinational conglomerates who instigated the war to push up the price of their holdings by starving people to death.

@metal-brain saidThis isn't a debate question.
Combined, BlackRock and Vanguard own nearly 90% of all S&P 500 firms. Who has the most money invested in BlackRock and Vanguard?
@wildgrass saidDon't be silly.
This isn't a debate question.
It is a question open for debate after someone answers that question?
Just admit you are not capable of answering the question.
