STANG consistantly disobeyed the mods when they asked him to stop the repetitive posting. This, in my eyes, is even worse than the spamming itself. If you ignore what the mods tell you then you earn every minute of ban you get.

I was going to help, because although spamming is silly and annoying, he done his time, so to speak, so why is the ban now being extended?
However, if the above is true, and he has been warned repeatedly, but ignored it, I'm less inclined to try to get him back. However, I realise a lot of people don't like him, but am unsure how much of this is because of his spamming, or because they don't agree with him.
Some enlightenment would help me decide...

I never deserve a bloody ban, and the mods can suck my sorry arse for all I care.
Compared to Stang, the spamming of complete rubbish on the General forum is much more of an issue.

Spammer or not? Annoying or not? Like him or not? Doesn't really matter. This site is a privately owned and operated business. STANG doesn't have freedom of speech rights here. The owners of the site can ban him, refund his money, and be done with him forever if they choose.

Peachy is putting his bum on the line to act as Stang's mouthpiece. He should watch out not only for the mods... but also bcause a lot sh1t comes out of that mouthpiece.
I do also feel that the more Stang contributes to this thread the more harm he is doing his own camppaign.

Seriously, we have no right to "free speach" here. It's a privately owned chess site. The Forums are a bonus, but that doesn't mean you can say/do anything you want and not be subject to moderation.
Is it biased? Of course it is. Could you moderate these forums without bias? I don't think anyone can keep completely clear of some bias.
They seem very fair to me, but i've only been posting here a couple of months or so.

Stang deserved to be banned IMO and i'd side with a couple more weeks spam-free myself. He had only recently been reinstated from a ban when he started up with the same tired codswallop .. about 2 weeks and banned again. How many bans is that? Can someone be permanently banned?
I don't think STANG even debates does he? He actually kills debates I think.

I used to be Lead Tourney host (chess) at Zone.com and the Go2plus told me to tell people like Stang that "This site isnt America, you have no right to free speech", and many people like Stang been banned.
However its Up to the Mods to decide, I dont like the idea of everyone deciding whether he should be banned or not
