Spying on congress is nothing new. The CIA did it during the Obama administration.

@metal-brain saidother than ZeroHedge and TheFederalist, your links are fine.

@metal-brain saidAccording to Twitter, the news leaks about entering Rep. Troy Nehls office are real (the Capitol police admitted it). It happened three months ago, but the congressman just released this information today.

Seems a lot like: Officer, you found drugs in my car? But... illegal search and seizure. I honestly don't think his office would be releasing this news at all if nothing incriminating was found. I hear these pro law enforcement types all the time saying things like 'why worry if you've nothing to hide.' Right shoe meet left foot.
What's missing from the story is: what is he hiding? Republicans all seem very nervous right now.

The Washington Post article says a map of the Capitol building was drawn on a board in that Republican's office. This is significant because:

"The FBI Knew Trump Supporters Had Capitol Tunnel Maps Before the Jan. 6 Riot"
News broke of speculation that the Jan 6th rioters had inside knowledge of Capitol building. And Republicans were reported to be "intimately involved" with planning the insurrection:

Is that why congress feared escape though the subway tunnels? They thought it might have an explosive waiting for them if they tried, right?
@metal-brain saidAnd as usual, you only focus on half the story.

You ignore what the members did to get investigated.
Typical.

@vivify saidI know there's a reason they're cowering in fear over this. Hillary testified for 11 hours about Benghazi, These henchmen are literally taking 5th amendment pleas (the right to not self-incriminate in a capital crime) instead of answering questions.

"Let's get to the bottom of how Antifa, a bunch of FBI operatives, and Antifa dressed up in MAGA gear and stormed the capitol to disrupt the certification of an election they already won, but don't you investigate we can handle it and trust us even though we're very proud of what our supporters did on that day."
People actually buy into these arguments.

@metal-brain saidI'm not aware of anyone being afraid to go to the tunnels. When your given is wrong, everything after that is suspect.

@suzianne saidWhy didn't they go to the subway tunnels? Was that too easy?

Were they trying to prove how brave they were?
I thought they were scared. Why did people shelter in the House gallery as protesters try to break into the House Chamber at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021? Look at the picture of that on this link.

They sure look scared to me.
