@vivify saidNo universal standard for CT levels?
No, it doesn't. Your putting words in their mouths because you have no point here.
That means some PCR tests will have too many false positives while others will have too many false negatives all dependent on the CT levels they choose. Anybody can change the CT levels to get bogus results that they want.
Look it up and learn something instead of making up nonsense. This proves PCR tests are being used to scam people.
@metal-brain saidNo it doesn’t.
"The CDC is discontinuing a test, because they’ve developed a test which determines which strain of covid or influenza someone might have."
Nope. It doesn't say that. This is what it says:
"CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses."
The CDC is dis ...[text shortened]... disappeared as some used to claim. The PCR tests simply are incapable of determining the difference.
Don’t blame me (or the CDC) for your very poor reading skills.

These words from the CDC speak for themselves. They want a better test that "can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses."
If that doesn't mean the PCR tests cannot tell the difference between SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses then tell us all what it means.....and don't put words in their mouths.
@metal-brain saidI’ve already posted what it means.

You just fail to comprehend.
Send them an email, ask them to explain, and then you’ll understand.

@shavixmir saidNo you didn't. You made up something that the CDC never stated at all and you couldn't find a single quote to support your lie. In other words, you put words in their mouths they never said. Exactly what you falsely accused me of doing. Do you always project what you know you are guilty of yourself? That is what no1 does too. He also stomps his feet when he is losing a debate....then he projects that behavior onto others who don't stomp their feet.

Where is the quote? I posted mine that proved you wrong.
Why did they give up on the PCR test if it can differentiate between SARS2 and Influenza? Post a quote, don't put words in their mouths they never said.
They never said it was to tell the difference between covid variants. If I am wrong post the quote that says so, don't make up lies.
@metal-brain saidEmail them you retard.

It’s 2022 and I’ve got better things to do than constantly argue your moronity.

You have failed to post a single quote that even remotely says what you claimed, which is a dirty lie.
You mean you have better things to do than losing a debate because you lied. Run away. That is what pathetic liars do.

CDC head Rochelle Walensky admitted Wednesday that the agency has rejigged its guidance, including cutting COVID isolation times in half, based on the fact that PCR tests are producing massive amounts of false positives.
https://summit.news/2021/12/31/video-after-two-years-cdc-head-admits-pcr-tests-produce-false-positives/
Now that there will be many less false positives in 2022 they will say the gene vaccines are working.
@metal-brain saidWrong again.

Jesus christ, what is wrong with your comprehension???

@metal-brain saidThe video referenced in your own link says the test "may not be as sensitive for detecting the Omicron variant."

That's not even remotely close to what you claimed about "false positives". Just more proof you don't know what you're talking about. She even said "those antigen tests still work quite well".
Your own link refuted you.

@metal-brain saidAre you retarded? The video is only 54 seconds long and you somehow missed that? The interviewer asks her point blank can PCR tests "still be trusted" and she says "yes, absolutely".
I watched the video. She didn't say that at all.
She says at the 0:28 second mark that she recommends PCR tests and then says that PCR tests "work quite well".
Here's the Twitter link with the exact video your article uses as a source:

She should not have said they work well though. She admitted they don't work as well for the delta variant. Listen to it again closely.
You did not even know which test she was talking about you moron.

@metal-brain saidI mixed up PCR and antigen tests. This doesn't change anything.

She says both are effective, but recommends PCR tests as a more accurate test. Her exact words, starting at the 0:20 mark:
"We do know that the most sensitive test is a PCR test", she then says that antigen tests "still work quite well". In other words, PCR tests work even better than antigen test, even though antigen tests already "work quite well". Nothing about "false positives" like you claimed.
You have no point here. Your own links refutes your arguments.
