There are lots of things you need to change in your constitution.
I mean, considering teo sides can’t agree what the 2nd amendment means, is surely proof enough it’s written badly? Or, at least, with another time in mind.
A country with a standing army doesn’t need armed militias.
There is no way a centralized form of government meant that civilians should arm themselves to be able to fight that centralized government.
Who, exactly, is allowed to own which weapons on which settings?
And I’m sure each amendment needs a quick redo, now, 300 or so years later.

The term assault rifle, as used by civilian lawmakers and the general public has come to mean any military style rifle that is sold to civilians in semi-auto only.
Semi-auto AK47's and AR15's are no different than their military counterparts and are just as deadly.
Full auto fire is stupid, spraying and praying and running out of ammo after a one second burst is retarded....plus full auto fire is wildly inaccurate unless you have a lot of training.
It ain't like in the movies where you can hold down the trigger forever and never run out of ammo and hitting everything you wave the gun at.

Even if you accept that the definition is a semi-automatic firearm capable of accepting a detachable magazine I have to ask if the detachable magazine is what you have a problem with. Is it?
That is the only meaningful feature that makes it deadlier. You could make that with a 3D printer. You could make a large part of an AR 15 with a 3D printer.

Jail is the farthest thing from their minds. The reason men become mass shooters is because they feel people don't care about them and they hate people that are happy because they are the people who don't care about them.
In other words, it is a psychological issue. People are mean to different people. Capitalism is a kick down society.

I would like to know if antidepressants are involved. It is well known that a small percentage of people taking antidepressants become homicidal and suicidal.

Banning high capacity magazines is a deterrent at best and I don't expect it to happen.

Many children would be alive if just ONE thing change in gun law, raise the age to 21 to be able to buy a gun and I don't give a rats ass about your 'only if military age is raised to 21" BS. They are two separate issues and that will never even come into the debate by REAL adults Comrade.
