@Sleepyguy saidNo, you're someone who denies (or pretends to deny) the reality that blacks suffer from systemic racism in the US and thus sees no need for any remedy for it. The authors of the CRA would surely disagree with that assessment.
Seems to me the courts will be reaffirming the CRA if they enforce the notion that "any individual" actually means any individual, but I'm not a smart lawyer who understands language and stuff.
Is the white guy who ran the 9 second 100 yard dash on flat ground more "qualified" than the black guy who ran 9.5 with the hurdles every 10 yards?
@sh76 saidYou wrote about things like "level-headed", "upbringing", and "ethic" as important considerations for hiring. I don't see how you can quantify to merit.
Of course it can exist. It doesn't exist, but that just anything standing in its way should be minimized to the extent possible, not increased. Just because you haven't reached a goal doesn't mean you stop trying.
I was honestly trying to find any and all evidence to support the idea that DEI practices diminished meritocracy, and led to less qualified people flying airplanes, but could not find any. Are you basing this position on some information I'm not aware of, or just a feeling?
@Suzianne saidyou forgot to add the democrats tried their damnedest to not let this bill pass.
They were both designed to equalize a playing field dominated by whites for far too long.
Equalize, yet you people claim it "preferred" non-whites. That's what equalization means, you know. One side needed to catch up. White people dominated society since Europe dominated the world, but you can't even stand an equalization for less than 60 years. Thinking your ...[text shortened]... ll the way to the White House to fight it. Well, that and the ease of embezzling the US Government.

Are you all retarded?
There is cultural evolution, financial evolution (although it’s called something else, but let’s keep it simple) and there is epi-genetical evolution. All are facts.
There are hundreds of papers proving all three points.
So, inherently, the consequences of poverty, or racism, are passed down to the next generation by cultural and economic influences, and the genetic effects are passed down by DNA; so called epi-genetic trauma.
Sorry. If you’re not into reading documentation and research, but these are the facts.
This means that poverty and racism are structural within the current systems we have at our disposal. And without tackling this, anyone is just meddling with consequences, rather than solving the causes.
Wake up, you bunch of uneducated morons.
Your debates are flatulence in rabbit holes of escapism and have no foothold in reality.
Seriously? Why the hell do I waste my time?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidDid you learn that revisionist history from Donald Trump?
you forgot to add the democrats tried their damnedest to not let this bill pass.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidOh, white people throughout history (and Donald Trump will go down as one of them) have plenty to feel guilty about. You people have created this problem by keeping the black man down for the last 400 years (at least). Consider it karma.

Interesting . I'd love to see a clip where he is finding common ground with liberals and discussing these issues. All that I found suggest he is a troll with no original thoughts.
His recent Twitter feed is racism mixed wwith fear mongering. Nothing of any substance.
@no1marauder saidWhile there is discrimination against blacks, that does not explain all the issues faced by the black community. Lumping all their ailments as the result of white supremacy / systemic racism, just goes to show how little you are able to speak the truth.
I've already showed that there is proof of discrimination against blacks even if applicants have the same criteria.
Systemic racism creates many of the social problems you mention.
I know you and some of the other believe it is because blacks are "inferior" in some way and, unfortunately, many in positions of power - such as educators, hiring professionals, bankers, ...[text shortened]... rs don't see discrimination against "inferior" blacks as a problem but as part of the natural order.
Cause and effect is where your point is lacking.
How does systemic racism cause a man to leave his wife/girlfriend and kids, go off impregnate another woman, and do it yet again and again. So this man left in his wake 5 kids with 3 women. The kids grow up in fatherless homes, the mother has to work 3 jobs, live off welfare, while the kids grow up in the streets, join gangs, take drugs, drop out of school, and engage is criminal activity. This is the story with as much as 75% of black communities.
Explain that without the usual nonsense talk about racism.
@shavixmir saidI just gave you the third thumb up for this one. I don't like anonymous thumbs, never thumb anything down and rarely thumb up, but here's one from me.

@KellyJay saidOne thing I've learned by reading media reports is that he was all in favour of Americans having guns, and then he gets killed by (presumably) an American with a gun. Quite what this 'proves' about the rightness or wrongness of his philosophy is debatable, but one cannot miss the irony or pathos.
He entertained any question from anyone, with that many conversations things can be made up or taken out of context to cast him in a bad light. Maybe Susie will jump in she has expressed a dislike for him. Maybe she can give and example of what to look at instead of saying he said this or that.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidYeah, their present dilemma couldn't POSSIBLY have been the result of HUNDREDS of years of inhumane slavery? What you cannot POSSIBLY understand is the cultural pain that causes even after the end of slavery.
blacks in the US suffer from blacks in the US...quit blaming white people for the faults of blacks
The end of slavery did NOT mean whitey all of a sudden just accepted blacks as real people, far from it. The hatred of Blacks goes on century after century, we just got out of decades of lynching and mob violence against blacks, as near as 1960 there were still "Colored Only' drinking fountains and such.
And repression of black ongoing after the civil war, repressing their ability to get educations, decent housing, even enough food to eat.
Yet here you are, after all that slavery and repression that is going on today, you come back with, it's ALL the fault of those sub human Blacks.
You are indeed one of the sickest bastards here on RHP.

@KellyJay saidAnyone can entertain questions. And many do. Comedians for example. Or real elected politicians at Town Hall events.
He entertained any question from anyone, with that many conversations things can be made up or taken out of context to cast him in a bad light. Maybe Susie will jump in she has expressed a dislike for him. Maybe she can give and example of what to look at instead of saying he said this or that.
Charlie Kirk doesn't appear to have made a name for himself just for doing this. And I have not seen any clips where he tries in any meaningful way to find common ground or understand someone with another point of view. He would tell gay people they should be stoned to death (just having a conversation), and he would tell vulnerable white teenagers that colored people in positions of power do not deserve to be there.
I get it. Hearing this makes white people feel better about themselves. It's not language that should be considered heroic or worthy of praise.
