Thanks. I remember seeing some of his campus lectures where more than one student hoped that he was shot and killed. I guess they are celebrating now.

I imagine a tiny group of extremists are.

There was no shortage of right wingers celebrating when Nancy Pelosi's husband was hit in the head with a hammer including Charlie Kirk. That does not justify his murder though.

I don't recall that at all. I remember a few snarky comments about what the guy was doing there in his house late at night, but nobody was glad he got assaulted.
If there were, it's nothing like the deluge of joyous comments coming from the left today.

The turning point is passed. January 6th. I guess you missed the gallows erected from which to hang the Vice President, in case he did not do his boss’s bidding instead of his constitutional duty.

The turning point started when Obama was elected. Nothing but division since.

A lot of racist White men couldn’t get their minds around the idea of an erudite, educated, Black man becoming president. The turning point was when racism creeped out of the woodwork, became public and emboldened; it was Trump who led the charged by spreading the false narrative about Obama’s foreign birth. Before that, racism was a thing to be ashamed of, not patriotic about.
