By moderate do you mean sensible and just?
Well, we can assume you and I are sensible. So, you'll need to define just, but you may dig yourself a hole.
Fair warning. 🤔

I really can't believe these online figures actually think that the so-called "social credit system" exists in China.
This is irrefutable evidence of brainwashing by media. People will always only believe what they are willing to believe.
hahaha

Does this refer to anything that really exists?

社会信用体系

China's building boom that accounts for a large part of it's GDP was all smoke and mirrors too.

How's this for starters?

Flint water was not fit to drink because of lead. Fish in the great lakes is contaminated with mercury. I can cherry pick crap too.

@AThousandYoung

[WORD TOO LONG].
如果你说是是西方媒体报道的所谓"社会信用体系",这个不值一驳,根本就不存在啊.

If you're referring to the credit report required for personal loans issued by the People's Bank of China, it indeed exists. This report only records financial-related information such as individuals' loan history, credit card usage, and overdue payment records, and never involves daily behaviors. Access to this report is restricted to the individual themselves or the financial service providers where they apply for loans or credit cards.

As for the so-called "social credit system" reported by Western media, it’s not worth refuting at all—such a thing simply does not exist.

Because except for the credit report from the People's Bank of China, there is simply no such thing as a "social credit system" in society—neither the government nor anyone else has it. For credit records, you go to the central bank; for criminal records, you turn to the police and courts. There is no such thing as "social credit" at all. Other quasi-financial commercial institutions like Alipay or WeChat do have their own credit assessment systems, but they cannot possibly possess your "social credit" information.
There is no essential difference between this and Western countries—neither in credit reports nor criminal records.

Yes, the marriage (to their 3 or 4 cousins( has to have occured in Pakistan, no such marriages are recognized if performed in UK.
Doesn't change a thing that I said. And they do give each of the wives ( cousins of the husband) the benefits.

Lord, you weird libs have us writing about marrying 14 year old cousins, tranees lgbutqs, girly men, aborting babies, boys i ...[text shortened]... ll you next bring to the fore. Making us pay a college grad's tution loan?? Wouldn't be surprised.
Holy God, man, will you ever learn how to spell?

I spend far too long trying to translate your mish-mash into English.

Speaking of cousin marriages you mentioned earlier, did you know that Pakistanis account for only 3% of the births in the UK, but account for 33% of all newborn birth defects because of all the arranged marriages to 1st cousins?

Seems this would put a heavy burden on the culture of the UK,,,,,,but I digress.
The libs on this forum cannot envision past their noses. They could learn from a man of vision, Donald Trump.
And they could use a crash-course in culture.

If foreigners keep setting up their cultures here, I will have to learn how to pronounce a vowel at the end of every name. I can't imagine speaking with them and having to prepare for that inflection at the end of their names. Machado, Maduro, I have to think who the news is talking about. And the illegal killer Indian truck driver last week, Kapaplrapreet Singh. Jesus. I would have a hard time introducing him to, say, my culturally catholic priest. Geez. Why don't these people stay home.
If I show up in India will they pay for my healthcare? Will it be A+ healthcare? Libs do not understand, except for what their endgame is, which they will not tell us!

Looks like we got into their heads that taxpayers aren’t paying for Ballroom. In predictable style, they tried then to say we didn’t need it, too ‘gold’ …..to them..As if to say, well it IS too gold. Then they realized no one cared what they thought about a non-issue. So, seems they aborted, like they always do.
Remember when Marauder had his minions believing that taxpayer money was not being used to pay loser tuitions? Real entertainment here, like the circus. Do you even get their logic to not stop criminality?
