Raytheon Chief Executive Greg Hayes admitted last week that Beijing effectively has the US military's supply chain by the balls thanks to its reliance on rare earths and other materials which come from, or are processed in, China.

But Biden still wants to start a proxy war with China in Taiwan. Interesting.

I don’t know if you’ve heard about the inflation reduction act but it’s about rejuvenating us manufacturing. Anything China does Vietnam can do cheaper and hey numbskull Taiwan has the US and China by processor balls.
China has its own serious financial and social issues too.

Greg's just pissed that he doesn't have those rare-earths to overcharge the US military with.
