"Come after me, I come after you"

Debates

That is what Trump just wrote, 'if you come after me, I will come after you''.
Does anyone here think this is the way a president should respond to indictments? He is clearly talking about the witnesses about to give testimony when his trials actually start.
He may end up in jail for a few days as a result of these kind of statements because when he says those things, his followers head them and act on them in violent ways as shown here:

https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-election-threats-georgia/

This is a PRESIDENT level speech?

His latest 'rally' was in Alabama, you remember, the state that made it near impossible for blacks to vote by restricting areas where they CAN vote and SCOTUS knocked them down as being too far right even for the Trump appointed supreme court judges with the result that Alabama is defying SCOTUS which seems to me to have the effect of lowering yet again the effectiveness of SCOTUS, seems to show states can defy orders from them and so where does Trump hold a rally? In the state where they are right out in the open about racism, whites stopping blacks from voting and Trump siting 'reverse racism', black judges going after white folks.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-strikes-defiant-tone-after-arraignment-b2387996.html

How can ANYONE support such an obvious fascist?

He has already signaled a wish to expand POTUS power if he is re-elected, where he can shut down the FBI if he wants and take over DOJ like Natan YAHOO is doing in Israel, which he probably watches very closely to see if that assswipe wins and destroys democracy there.

THIS is what you want in a president?

Witness tampering.

He was warned about this at his arraignment.

He simply cannot keep his fat mouth closed.

He’s a petty, vindictive man. Not a good role model for the post of Leader Of The Free World.

I got through your first two lines. Seems you were offennnnnnded by a man who exhibits strength against enemies. You realize that, for example,, socialists are enemies, persecutors and politically-motivated prosecutors are enemies. You yourself are an enemy, subverting movements to regain our country and our democracy.
Might I insert a 'whataboutism' in the name of Joe Biden. "Does anyone think a President should do and act as does this crooked man?" Pick crooked,, or strength, Sonhouse.

he is threatening witnesses, prosecutors and judges.

are those the enemies? i thought you have to respect law enforcement?

" socialists are enemies, persecutors and politically-motivated prosecutors are enemies"
who are these socialists you keep mentioning. Don't answer that, i know you're refering to Biden and Harris, to which i say, "damn, you dumb"

Lol he was even specifically warned against witness intimidation by the judge. Anyone else would have gone to jail just for that.

You are absolutely right, Trump IS treated differently by the justice system 😀

Who is he talking about? Biden? Jack Smith? If he was talking about Smith maybe he meant legally.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/08/04/dershowitz-jack-smith-could-be-indicted-for-fraud-for-omitting-trumps-peaceful-statement/

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team has admitted to incorrectly stating they turned over evidence as required by law in the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump.

Prosecutors discovered that video used as evidence “had not been processed and uploaded to the platform established for the defense to view” when they were getting ready to indict Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos De Oliveira last week for allegedly conspiring with Trump to delete surveillance footage from the estate, Smith’s team wrote in a filing.

Trump is playing you. He was deliberately not specific when he made the statement. You have no idea who he is talking about. It could be about anyone.

He did not specifically say a witness.

Do you think any of this silliness will prevent his supporters from voting for him?
Nope. All of this is helping Trump. Even if he goes to prison people will vote for him. What is the goal of this indictment again?

Anyone, who suggests a socialist society, such as you, is an enemy to the USA society. Duh.
Secondly, if a man is being persecuted going on 9 years 24/7, a wimp such as yourself (sorry to get personal, I sound like a liberal) will consider any blowback from the persecuted to be unreasonable?? Are you for real? The dems are resorting to every trick to keep Trump from becoming president.
This may be a bit deep for you, but anything he 'threats' about may be designed to build up support and sympathy for his cause, to become president in 2024. If he just sits there, it would disappoint people like myself tremendously.
Give 'em hell, Trump.
And for the record I have no respect for the 'law enforcement' for zeroing in on Donald Trump, while trying to free Hunter and Joe Biden from their obvious evidence of crime.
YOu want to respond here? Make it count by telling us about the wiring by countries of millions to fake companies, then wired to the family. Tell us. Tell us the source, and the reason, and what was being paid for. You Will Not Do This. You are a wimp.

It’s nothing to do with exhibiting strength against enemies. It’s bloody obvious that he’s attempting to intimidate witnesses, prosecutors, and anyone else in the judicial system involved in his case. Why was he specifically warned not to? Because that has been his m.o. in past cases.

He did not specifically threaten anyone. Define "come after".
Does come after mean a threat? Then who threatened Trump?

Do you see how Trump is playing all of you?
He knows all of this media attention will boost his poll numbers. Maybe that is why his lawyers are taking their time. Now they are delaying using the excuse the DOJ had years to prepare and they need to do catch up.

Moonbus, your comments omit what is being crashed down on top of Donald Trump.
Biden recently said 'We have to demonstrate that he does not get power , that he does not become president again'. These are marching orders for Merritt Garland, you see. Whatever it takes. Commonly known as weaponizing. Keep out the person that you are scared of. Put him in jail. Putin does that to his adversaries. Are you hearing me, Moonbus? I thought you were a fair fellow.
I realize you think he intimidates, etc. Can you not see that he is defending himself? If someone comes after you for obvious political reasons you will fight back. Libs are wimpy, maybe you fight in different ways, I have no idea.
(See above, he cannot become preeident again, we have to stop Trump, we have to intimidate Trump into oblivion).
So, Biden weaponizes DOJ et al from his pulpit. Not playing fair, Moonbus. Put yourself in Trump's place.
Oh golly, the omnipotent debater Suzianne is about to respond that 'I cannot put myself in his place!'. Her debating technique improves every day.

Unbelievable. Really bad stuff. Who threatened Trump? Like, Merritt Garland and the entire DOJ? If I were the verbose Sonhouse, I would write 12 paragraphs right herel.
